Easy Anti cheat conflicting with cooling fan RGB control program

When Installing the game on PC for the first time with no game play recorded, when trying to start after installation, I received this error message stating that my RGB controller for my cooling fans was detected as a violation. Is this intended or possibly a bug?

    Hi Prodigallink!

Sorry to hear you having issues with Easy AntiCheat and your RBG cooling fan program.

In this situation, I would recommend making sure both programs are up to date. You should also make sure the game and Uplay are running with administrator rights. You may also want to reinstall supporting software and verify game files.

If the issue persists, I'd recommend reaching out to EAC Support.

    Thanks!

The issue still persists unfortunately. Ive updated to both the latest official version as well as the beta version, and it still kicks me out.

this is because the RGB controller probably has an unsigned driver. And then the software manufacturer must get them signed by microsoft

    Thanks for sharing this, Imagine_Brata!

Have you heard back from EAC Support yet, Prodigallink?

I tried all the listed steps and also contacted EAC the only workaround is to uninstall the RGB software which defats the whole point of having RGB especially when the same software also does fan control. Ubisoft and others should either stop using EAC or pressure EAC to stop flagging RGB software as malicious.

Had a similar issue with Gigabyte software ... also contacted EAC, it took over a month for them to respond just to tell me "contact your game provider" and then was back in an endless circle of incompetence.
You have 2 options ... uninstall RGB software or simply don't play EAC secured games. I would suggest you try some other game that also uses EAC but was not published by Ubisoft just to test it if it is EAC in all games or some Ubisoft game-specific issue.
