    Is parrying easier with M+KB?

I'm genuinely curious. I started for honor years ago and i played with controller since it was "recommended", now it's quite literally impossible for me to turn to m+kb i believe, but i feel that people that can light parry consistently might be on M+KB, i'm not sure if that's true or not but most YT For Honor players i see pulling out light parries like its nothing mostly play on M+KB.

Ive had this problem for some time now. Although since the CCU I don't feel the need to learn M/KB as it seems getting a light parry is a crap shoot now as previous poster suggests.

After using controller for so long and having all the settings finally tuned and having automatic sprint on left joystick it is difficult to switch to M/KB and play effectively. Its as if there are too many buttons to press and I haven't taken the time to see the best ways to remap my keys to make it comfortable. I can definitely parry better using M/KB but my hang-ups are: going in and out of guard mode, switching targets, and finding the best key for guardbreak without making it difficult to sprint, roll or dodge.

Not unless you assign yourself some binds that allow you to do things like bash parry option selects or GB parry option selects. Or niche situations like a specific bind for BP.

Parrying lights was a mix of prediction and react on indicator. In favorable conditions and high reaction speed even just on reaction. But that changed with CCU. Most people barely get to block light attacks.
And until now I've only met very few guys who pulled off light parries and only one or two of them could consistently do it. And to clarify: there were also players with 80+ ping among them as well as players in 40-60 ping range, some in 10-40 range and even some who conveniently had "ping spikes" that went from 20-100+ but stayed stable 20-40 most of the time.

If controller input delay on PC isn't a thing as it is on consoles AND you favor low deadzone and "minimalistic" thumb movement on guard control you might not event need to think about switching to M&KB controls. But if your thumb moves to the edges of the controller for the guard AND you don't see how to retrain yourself to minimal input then I'd recommend M&KB with high but comfortable sensitivity.
