A rifle with close and personal is pretty good to spawn trap npcs at a door

Ok...maybe I'm just REALLY tired( long week ). But why, exactly, is this so useless?

I think he's talking about the 2% Damage to Armour (which is pretty useless along with the other two bars on that weapon), if you recal that your'e still left with a pretty useless gun.

    Thats my take on it.

What difficulty level? That looks average for someone playing on lower difficulty.

And people do this with a rifle? Why not a shotgun for close encounters? Some have a reasonable fire rate and hold ten rounds - comparable to the M1A - and do double the damage.

    This is true.

My classic M1A is at 500K damage at 180 RPM

My Marine Super 90 shotgun is at 1 million damage at 168 RPM

On my 2 million Armour build it's at 800 K damage at 168 RPM

Of course it's possible to get low rolls in a RNG based looter, just as it's possible to get high rolls. The only possible complaint that could be made is if that dropped from a heroic activity (as opposed to open world).

The talent being inappropriate is a side effect of the same non-constrained system.
