This is a small competition that recognises the talent of some of our forum members who make 'Sig Banners' - they are the large pictures that appear at the bottom of your posts. Avatars are the small ones that appear top left of your posts under your user name.
They aren't that difficult to make, but saying that, some people are better than others. If you smile very nicely, perhaps someone will make you one - from a design idea of your choice.

This is a first try at a signature with Corel. I'm a member at the Naval Museum of Alberta where the periscope from USS Burrfish overlooks the city. That's me looking through it. It later became HMCS Grilse with the Canadian Navy where it was used for anti-submarine training. The periscope will be moved next month to a new facility called The Military Museums where it will join a binocular periscope from one of the more modern Canadian subs.
