Since this update and I can`t block any attacks. I play ps4.

I am rep 400, before I could block 50% light attacks now I block 5%. I win the combats by spam and agressive. Now, I don't enjoy when I kill someone. I feel like idiot killing someone using only spam but it is the best way to win right now.

I am talking about light attacks.

I said something like this in another post, why would I bother using skills and or skill sets of a hero when all I have to do is hit r1 to win? Most times when I go for a mixup combo I land the first strike and then eat a bunch of light attacks because my GB bounced or my feint to light was too slow. You don’t have to deal with mixups anymore, just hit r1 for the big fun, lol

But yeah basically I’ll try a combo once and if I get spammed out of it I’ll switch my play style and just spam In return, boring as hell but that’s what they want.
This. Basically makes bash spamming characters easier too. Worst thing they can do it Dodge, but because recovery is stupid fast there's almost no counter to it unless you have a Dodge attack.

Ehh, that is and was the hole POINT of ccu, to get rid of skill and any feel of combat and turn it into a hack and slash. You are not ment to block or dodge only to spam light whit a heavy faint in there.
Previous defensive reaction based gameplay was not noob firendly, so they changed the game to appeal to the super casuals.

You can still get the old FH feel in vsAI but you will be playing agasint lv1 bots 99% of the time that uses less then 30% of their moves list.

So if you already had a hard time blocking, it will be even harder to block now. This obviously was going to happen when they lowered reaction potential by removing 100ms of indicators. Likewise people who could parry lights on demand are now having to make reads and concentrate quite hard to get that light parry. That was part of the point of this update.

imagine having that much time in a video game and still lack the capability to grasp the basic fundamentals of a game.

Sorry, I said wrong. I suppose I could block 75% the light attacks. Before I felt very strong, right now I dont feel so strong.

I just want to say, the game now changed to be more arcade, more open to everybody who just want to smach bottons. It s not fun like before. I know some noobs players are happy by that. But the experience player don't enjoy fighting like a monkey. xd.

The point of the CCU is to get people being hit by basic attacks more.

If you look to any other fighter out there you will not see a single one where perfect defense exists. Being hit by basics is the very...well basic aspect to fighting games.

For honor is slightly special in that it's not a combo focused game. Which means defense cannot be as strong as it was. It's fine for say tekken to allow you to block 2 of the 3 attack spots with a simple block/back walk because you can get popped on a single mistake and be juggled providing the person plays well.

For honor having the very basics of combo structure but not actual combo focus means attacks need to land more often as well as be actually some what threatening. You have to re-learn the game if you were someone who relied upon reactions and didn't have sub 200ms reaction times.

FH is no longer "if you're good you can defend against everything" it is now "you will get hit. play around it."

"other fighter out there you will not see a single one where perfect defense exists"

I liked a lot KOF 2000, I played with my brother when I was a child. We could be gods in this figths wihout give any chance to noobs. Maybe before the games for new people are harder and now the people like to have all done.

This game was different, but anyway it felt how games of the old school and it was fun when a good player could kill 3 or 4 gaining revenge because "if you're good you can block everything"

For me it was fun. Well, I suppose everything has a end and now I won't play such as like before this game cus I don't like it like before. I just wanted share my feelings.

    Thanks for reading
