    Northern traveler's set

If you get Northern traveler's set at level 1 and just started the game, how will the Northern traveler's set help? Upgrading legendary armor and weapons cost massive materials. Why not make legendary armor and weapons start at a level like 20 or 30, so newbies wont use them to soon, like me? I guess I so dumb, the legendary armors and weapons looks so I want to use them too soon?

    Hey there Dannymuas2005!

Thanks for your feedback! The Northern traveler's set is an optional bonus offered through the Ubisoft Club, so it can be claimed at any point in the game. As it is a legendary set, it will provide new players with a initial starting boost they may not have had access to, which can help them to progress faster at the beginning. However, as you point out, it costs a lot of materials to upgrade, so new players are still encouraged to use alternative armours as they progress until they have the materials to upgrade the Northern traveler's set. It's entirely up to a player if they choose to use it or not

Support Staff: This is a lame response. The problem stems from Club Rewards being automatically placed in the player inventory at the start -- like starting a new game. I have no choice when I get this gear. The same is true for the Mycenean Gear pack I claimed at level 5 during my first game. No matter what, it will always be given to me at that level. Why not let players determine when they receive their "Owned" Club Rewards for each an every "new game"? The legendary gear auto unlocks 2 gold perks at level 1. They're useless at that point. Still it takes away from the journey.

    Hey Amthyre,

Thank you for reaching out and for your feedback, we'll pass this on for future consideration.

Following the launch of Ubisoft Connect and many games no longer being supported as they were on the Club, rewards for legacy titles will be unlocked automatically so this will be the case going forward that the items will be accessible from the start.

Sorry for any disappointment this caused or hinderance to the immersion caused.

If there's anything more we can answer or help with, please let us know.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the response. I want to clarify something I stated. I unlocked the Mycenean Armor at level 5 during gameplay. Every new game will have that set automatically placed in inventory with the requirement to be level 5 before being able to equip. That said, the set is rare and not that important. The concept is. It would make more sense to allow players to redeem Club Rewards during their future journeys when they want. In my situation, the Northern Realms set will always be level 1. That sucks. I think this deserves a serious discussion at the appropriate level for future projects. I am aware that a major hurdle is how to keep the current status and data attached to accounts if you revamp. I for one would welcome a new system.
