How idiotic.
Rather simple, if people could block orochis delayed combo light before CCU then they are more then cable to do block lights after CCU.
It’s the same situation when a new hero comes out, everything seems faster and impossible to parry because your not used to it, same goes for CCU.
Not to mention that people seem to forget that you can just start your own combo after a light finisher and dodge out of combos that started with a Light attack.
Sure blocking got a bit harder and parrying lights is more of a read then a reaction but that was the point of it.
The spam situation is the same as before: Get spammed? Blame yourself, improve and overcome.
Hey can we make a petition to remove kensei's heavy after doing a dodge attack ? Some kensei's keep spamming that X R2 move they keep spamming kensei's dodge heavy attack and then throw a ton of lights you can't even GB them when they dodge or do the dodge attack the devs are serious *** holes making the samurai the strongest heroes and buffing them alot even raider with his light spam and his hyper armor
I can't even block with gladiator the lights of warmonger or orochi or anyone who has fast lights either that or the game is messed up they must do something about the block stance you can't block any side once they throw a light lets make a petition to improve the block and parries

Parry that dodge attack. Problem solved. You are welcome.
These people either connected their console to pc, get luck with random heavies or fight an extreemely predictable player who repeats the same attack patterns. Doesnt make them skilled. I know I find a lot less skill now than before this cc change. An unpredictable spammer who mixes up directions is basically unstoppable with the right character choice like Kenseir or Nobu. Even if u are very patient and get lucky with a parry or two. Ur still in for a very rough and boring time. If u want an exhilarating match and more consistenty moveset experienced players aside from light chains. Well u joined this game a couple updates to late

Matching your opponent's guard is not that hard, and if you predict what will be the next move they will use, acting accordingly is quite easy. Parrying a light is just matching the guard and pressing heavy on red, for which you have to have a guess about when it will come. Can't be done 100%, but you get in about twice as much damage as they do, and if you block that light, he achieves nothing. You can spam side dodge as soon as you are hit by a light attack, and that will bring you out from the chain spam. If a light finisher hits you, and you spam light, your light will connect before the opponent's could. Finally, dodge attacks are extremely predictable and easy to beat, especially if that character has one single dodge attack: press feint, and if he starts the dodge attack, it is still a reaction parry (dodge attacks were made slower than they were, that part did not change after the CCU).
If you watch some fights on youtube, you will see that the number of spammers did not raise at all. Because they are not succesful after a certain level, spam means you are not really paying attention to anything, just mash buttons- that means you will never beat someone who knows what they are doing (excluding when that person panics and the brain shuts down).
I am almost always beating spammers. The game did not become more favourable to the bad players, they have even less chance parrying anything than normal, and are probably not capable of using any mixups. If you were succesful, and suddenly are not, that just means you did not adapt to the new system yet. Which is still skill based (far more so than light-bash-light only Black Prior and bash on red Lawbringer were before the CCU).
How the hell is Nobushi a good hero to spam?Originally Posted by Rasboy29 Go to original post
Her animations are still so obvious to see and read.
Pretty much this, also to the dodge after a light attack hit you: You can even use Conqs zone and Aramusha full block counter after the first light attack hit you.Originally Posted by Goat_of_Vermund Go to original post
It is because they’re bad at the game. The game is still, “react” but it’s also predict and read, simply put. Especially when it comes to unblockable feints and dodge attacks. People just got upset because they were use to relying on attack indicators to tell them what they should do, like a freaking dancing game.Originally Posted by Lord.Warden. Go to original post
In every other fighting game there is no attack indicator showing you if an attack is gonna either be low or high. You have to read and react. I’m assuming Ubisoft was trying to follow these principles of other fighting games.
