So after placing 3rd or 4th in the past few games , I notice that players don't rush to pick up the crown and in fact, they let other players pick it up. It became apparent to me that this is starting to become the new strategy. Why pick it up when everyone will just focus on you? Think about it, not only that your location is always revealed but it doesn't give me any special bonuses..and don't think about adding any because that will equally be just as annoying. A suggestion would be to continue the timer instead of resetting it back to 45 seconds when a player drops it, so if a player drops it at 7 seconds then the next player that picks it up starts the timer at 7 seconds.

Or just get rid of it
