You guys need to adjust stamina, damage and speed of attacks for some characters. Why should high HP, bashers have 500 ms lights too now? Why does my heavy do 29 damage when theirs do 45 dmg? What is the point of balancing like this?
Orochi also has his garbage nerfed chain light delay while high lander does not.
Nerfing low tier heroes like Ronin and the other assassins is just pure incompetence. No thought into it at all. Do you devs even play this game?
Like, why? Why don't you just listen to the players? Why do you even ask now since you have shown you don't listen to players at all. Just used an automated script is so lazy.
So many things you can do to make the game better be you guys are just blind.
Also, just listen to what Freeze say. He has good ideas and I agree with him.
I meant that moderators should keep track of everything that is written regardless of who writes it. Obviously it takes better treatment for those who have dedicated themselves to the forum, but that does not mean that they should be the only ones to be considered. So yeah, you expressed the concept better than me but that was what I meant. However I disagree that it takes a long time to read everything, I can do it in 10-15 min after finishing work and I read every single post. It's not a very busy forum, and before the CCU there weren't that many posts. We are in a particular case.Originally Posted by CanadianSoupMan Go to original post
As much as I personally disagree here the developers nor the mods actually give a preference to who they listen to. We have the current CCU in part to the devs listening pretty heavily to people who are less informed about the game. I think Ubi is actively trying to get feedback harder than usual because a lot of big time players are leaving. When you have prominent members across your community echoing the same sentiments that can be found even with the random posters on the internet who don't actively participate in discussions it sort of forces you to engage with anyone they can.Originally Posted by Astrad06 Go to original post
It also helps that someone like Soup or myself tend to be more detailed with our responses thus giving them more to work with in regards to feedback to pass along. Yes someone saying "man **** this game it's ruined now" is indeed feedback that should be heard. But it's far less helpful to them. I'm guessing Soup and I were given responses in part because we're more likely to give them helpful feedback but also because both threads have remained on the front page. Allowing people to further discuss the current feelings amongst everyone. So they can use both threads as a focal point for feedback.
I'm sorry but I don't agree with you, you have emphasized just what I meant, but you rightly defend your cause. If today you created another account on the forum and wrote a message would it be different from doing it with the account you have now? I don't think the content would change but your position in the eyes of ubisoft will. The number of posts you have posted only means that you have donated your time trying to help here on the forum, and it deserves respectful behavior. But it doesn't mean that a newly signed up person doesn't know the game or can't give you an idea you won't even think about in 100 years. And it is not fair that it is not taken into consideration by the staff. I'm sorry but I don't think ubisoft listens to everyone because, as I repeat, many players said they were leaving the game but no one wrote them anything. However mine just wanted to be a PS, the points covered were the important thing.Originally Posted by Knight_Raime Go to original post
let me try to focus my opinion a bit more.Originally Posted by Astrad06 Go to original post
I believe all feedback has value. However I do not believe all feedback is equal or should be considered equal.
I do not believe the most knowledgable players in the game are always correct. They can also give flawed feedback. But in general I think their feedback should be HEAVILY weighed more than someone who's less knowledgable.
If a new account can actually prove they understand the game as someone who has a high post account than the number of posts does not matter. I wasn't trying to imply that my post count or Soup's makes us better. I was strictly using our post count as a way to distinguish a specific pattern. And said pattern helps them easily see our behavior. I will have to just disagree with your assertion that Ubi cares that much about post count. I actively had moderators talk to me back when my post account was much smaller. I have also seen them respond with questions in threads created by low post count accounts with barely any detail on feedback and being some what flamatory. Ubi neither themselves or their mods caters to anyone or any group specifically.
And I didn't mean that your posts could be wrong, maybe I didn't explain myself. I meant that they must be read before they are considered valid or not, not that they are excluded a priori because of the writer's anxiety. However it seems we have had different experiences with moderators. They didn't even answer the question: "Is there anything planned for the Valkyrie?" It's a post in which you answered me too so I think you remember it.
I conclude by saying that we have expressed the same opinion but as usual I cannot make myself understood. Excuse me but the syntax of my language is more complex than English and many times I do a simple translation.
What do you think of the points I mentioned to the moderator in my first post?
I get the gist of what you're on about. I was just further clarifying my own thoughts on the subject just to make sure the point I was attempting to make was understood clearly.Originally Posted by Astrad06 Go to original post
In your segments about lights theres stuff I agree with like not having lights be disadvantaged or giving someone a big punish to parry. I disagree with giving everyone enhanced openers (I assume you mean enhanced because that means blocking doesn't stop the combo.) This is because move properties wether for good or bad partially impact a hero's identity. So giving everyone enhanced openers would negatively impact this. Also even if I disagree with how Ubi puts emphasis on guard states by keeping two types of guard states it's what we're stuck with. So giving everyone enhanced lights would soft ignore guard state. I also don't agree on making things cost more stamina. If lights (non combo lights like shaolin triple poke,) have to cost more stamina to satisfy the devs desire to address spam complaints then the cost should be lowered to 8-10 stamina. Not 12 like they currently are.
I have chosen to not respond to most things for brevity sake. And also I personally do not wish to go in depth on this games balance much anymore. I feel like if I did i'd basically just be giving feedback again but without making a thread on it. And i'm actively trying to not do as such because of personal reasons. Overall i'd say you have a perfectly reasonable grasp on the game with some of the things you talked about. But with room to improve.
Light spam is worse.
New bugs are in.
Warmonger & Highlander are OP rest of cast gets nerf.
Shinobi needs rework.
Damage values needa be fixed.
Nerf Highlander light speed.
Increase assassins light speed all chars.
Fix tracking for chars that need it like Zerk.
Give openers to chars that need it.
REMOVE REFLEX GUARD.
Balance the damn game. The CCU & patch were steps in the wrong direction.
You say light spam is worse but after that you ask for faster light attacks for Assassins, ironic.Originally Posted by MrGrippz Go to original post
Highlander light attacks speed is fine, they just have to fix the animation of the second light and nerf the uninterruptible. And I'm curious to know why you think Highlander is OP when he's one of the weakest heroes in the game.
I'm not a fan of the CCU too, I think one of the worst thing is the Frame Advantage who are more random and bug than revenge, it freeze my hero sometime and I can't defend myself or people can continue to attack me after finisher.
And yeah I agree with you, a lot of heroes need more moveset, feint and mixup. Better than an accelerate game where you just have to throw a light to cancel every attacks of your enemy.
