Overpowered
Stronger
Nothing change
Weaker
Useless
Hey, I'm curious to know the state of your main hero since the new update.
I main Highlander, he's a bit better now, probably not because of the new update but lights attacks who are faster than before.
Faster heavy attacks opener and running speed + more stamina would be welcome in a future update, I don't think it need a lot of work to do that.
I don't have one main but a bunch of 5 fav heros.
Musha : awfully slow now, blocade options are more useless than ever. He lost lots of efficiency both in anti gank and mid. Deadly feints are 12dmg.
Devastating update for him.
Valk : for a mysterious reason her CC now have the lowest dmg in game. Sweep punish is 26 and still sweep friends lmao.
Zone is still slow, fb still useless, delfect has only 1 direct dmg ..
Only her side lights finisher feels good.
Disappointed for my Valk too.
Glad : kind of ok overall as before as a duelist but his only 4v4 strengh which was ganking got a hard nerf with his toe stab doing 6 stupid dmg. Outside of oos pressure this moove become useless.
The 2 others are Kensei and Shaman which are pretty good imo. At least i still have them hopefully.
My main is shinobi so now instead 90% of the cast having the ability to 3 shot me I think everyone can and my deflect got nerfed but hey 29 dmg ranged heavies for a little while is nice.
Edit: I knew the deflect got nerfed but damn the light attack deflect does a whopping 11 dmg, my chain lights are 4 dmg despite costing 12 stamina and you still throw range heavies instead of melee if you move your guard too fast. I think this dead horse has been kicked enough ubi.
You already explain critics about my mains XD i agree with thisOriginally Posted by Siegfried-Z Go to original post
Peacekeeper: Might be an unpopular opinion, but after a few duels where I totally wrecked everyone, she looks like a far stronger hero than before. Her damage feels higher than before (probably because hers wasn't nerfed as hard as others'), her attacks are completely unreactable. Her playstyle drastically changed: before, her main main goal was placing a bleed on the opponent, and after it is on, overwhelming them with light attacks. Now, lights must be used more sparingly due to how stamina consuming they are, how little their damage is, and how high the usual punishes are if they are parried, so I only use them to remind my opponent they exists. The new spine of her offense are her heavy attacks: the dagger cancel is not reactable, throwing out heavies is much safer because of the low punishes and stamina costs on them, the frame advantage you get after a blocked heavy finisher or a succesful deep gouge, and because if you ocassionally softfeint into guardbreak, you take off a quarter of the opponent's hp if you catch them. I have never experienced so much burst damage potential with her, I 100-0 a Hitokiri in a matter of seconds (and she was actually very good player who kept parrying my second lights consistently). I need a few more fights with her, and I did not got the chance to fight a Warmonger or an other strong hero in duels with her. I am satisfied with the changes with her, for now at least, she feels stronger, but her playstyle changed drasically (imo, for the better).
Lawbringer: He is obviously weaker, but it is not a bad thing, he finally feels fair to use. I had only one duel with him against a Warden who defeated me at the end, but not because the hero feels weak. His heavy attack based fighting style with the shove mixup is improved because of the stamina changes, I can finally throw things without expiring myself. His side lights received an obvious indirect buffs. His damage feels high, but I know some of the finisher's will go, hard to tell how he will feal after that (maybe a little underpowered?). The defense was hit, but still strong. I think he lost only some unfair things from the kit, nothing essential for viability.
Black Prior: Relatively speaking, he got weaker, since he was a top duelist, and now everyone else is viable. I don't think there is much he got out of this, the light-bash-light is weaker, the undodgable is weaker, but I can't tell how he plays. Tbh, my only fight with him was against a PK, who completely destroyed me.
Jormungandr: Feels stronger than before, her normal attacks now are unreactable, his oos pressure is harder to react, his light finishers are not parried consistently, and I can even use my heavies now. The hyperarmor is missing a bit.
Hitokiri: Completely gutted. With the armor gone and the light finisher nerfed, I could not find much to go for. Spamming Mugen-ryuu heavies with random timings was the best thing I could do, that is the only part that got stronger.
P.S: Had the chance to fight a Shugoki. Probably the worst experience I had in the game ever. Light with 400ms indicator, superior attack+hyperarmored: no matter what I did, he could literally just spam this in my face to counter it. I actually think it is worse than Hito's heavy opener was a year ago, so the armor should totally go from it (it was irritating even before the CCU, but with this speed, it is simply unfair).
raider was trash, still trash but more speedOriginally Posted by Dunmaglass_ Go to original post(((
no bash no win
I agree about Shugoki... I think he may even be low-key one of the most powerful Heroes right now... at least he is against me. I seriously don't know what to do against him if my opponent is evenly skilled even slightly less. I might win the fight but it always takes EVERYTHING I have and I am left with little HP and its EVERY Shugoki fight.
