It doesn't, it affects your access to the OP hero of the season. So if you wanna have "fun", you need to pay. If you don't pay, you suffer the abuse.

    I
If you think game devs don't work their games around profits, and use compelling methods to make you pay more money for the game, you're way too misguided in life.

Ok, my bad. I thought warmonger was included in the battle pass. But its the same ****, you pay to be overpowered at least until they fix it. It has been like this since season 1 and it's ok, devs need to eat too. But it's still a disguised pay-to-win. Because it doesn't guarantee the win, but gives you advantage, so that's pay-to-win no matter what you want to call it. It was like this with jorm too, you paid 8 dollars to be able to easily win against 4 opponents.

Actually, it was always like this:

Release Centurion needed one guardbreak and a wall to one shot.

    Released Shaman was disgusting.

Junk from Wu Lin patch made 1v4 so easy anyone could be Faraam.

Bp was completely unpunishable by any chains.

Hito earlyy armor guaranteed win for even the most braindead.

Enhanced lights leading to a variable bash is pure stupid... the devs dont care, its $$$

I gave them (again) benefit of the doubt, but they are just an EA loot box setup with a stream telling you 'its goooooood' (warriors den, brought to you by people who barely play their own game)
