Well, here I go again. Ubisoft should not have any missions that make you start over when you get to a point that 'they know' you won't complete in at least 1 attempt! This decision by Ubisoft developers, first of all not being able to 'save' your game and second of all to start a person way back into a missions parameter is NOT FUN, makes their games garbage, and leaves a complete bad taste in one's membranes regarding gaming.
I'll be listening to all of you regarding FarCry 6 and let me know if they have any mandated missions that you have to do over and over and over and over and over again!?!
I will appreciate hearing from you first before buying.
Since I purchased Wildlands for less than 20 bucks and Breakpoint for less than 10 bucks, I can assured you that there i no way in hell I will pay full retail for anything related to a Ubisoft product, let alone what they call a finished game so, in that regards, I'll just wait for the reviews to check the game out and if it is something I am willing to play knowing full well that it will be about 40 to 45% ready only (if that), I will buy it at a deep discount a few months later and from a 3rd party vendor, this way I am not helping Ubisoft in any way, shape or form.
Now, in regards to the missions... well, yeah, that is their way of telling you that the game is THAT LONG, even if they cheated on it. That is what it is and one of the reasons why I don't care to give them my money anymore. The only thing they got going and why I am still here is because they own the 3, well 2 really, ok now 1 Franchised I got old with.
"The money truck" mission shares part of the route with Snafu and supply convoys in transit through Barvechos. Random convoy was a problem since launch, Snafu just made things more challenging. Also, Barvechos spawns SB lieutenants faster than any other province and they are difficult to avoid/outrun, especially if the captured truck suffered a lot of damage.Originally Posted by usafirefly7 Go to original post
Creating a roadblock and sniping the drivers is the safest way to complete the mission without restarts. Crossbow does only superficial damage. Unfortunately, this plan isn't bulletproof, since it stops all traffic, including rebels, Unidad, supply convoys and SB lieutenants. Timing is important.
Far Cry 6 looks interesting, but so do other 200 untouched games in my Steam/Epic/GoG/uPlay library. I will save my money and do some of that ever growing homework instead![]()
This is the way to do it.Originally Posted by gunbladelad Go to original post
But...
One of my problems with the missions to get Nidia and Pulpo at each other’s throats is that the schemes have to be believable. And I don’t think they are.
In this mission, the premise is that Pulpo has stolen one of Nidia’s money trucks. So you steal the truck and park it at Pulpo’s compound after killing his men.
So let’s consider what happens after you kill Pulpos men and drop the truck off... the first one to discover this scene is probably Pulpo or one of his staff, who will let him know his men are dead and there’s a big truck there. He will investigate, likely determine the truck is full of money, and call Nidia and say WTF is one of your trucks doing at my place? And why are my men murdered? I’m sure after some back and forth, they will conclude a 3rd party is responsible. Mission fail. Pulpo is not going to park a big truck full of a Nidia’s money in his own drive way and murder all his men. WTF?
This mission makes no sense.
Actually doing the mission as it's designed does make sense, overall. I assume that's what is meant.Originally Posted by Virtual-Chris Go to original post
How one does it playing PVE (or even in co-op) isn't of anyone else's concern bottom line - outside of discussions on the various way's to get a completed mission, and move on to the next one.
Not sure what you mean... what’s “as it’s designed” mean?Originally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post
Is it possible to drop the truck off without killing the men in the compound?
Yes. To be blunt, that's how I've always done it. If using AI, I turn them off after capturing the truck. Only one operator need enter and park the truck. However have done the mission with full team, but logically it doesn't make sense.Originally Posted by Virtual-Chris Go to original post
What I discovered was not to do anything to that location prior to entering. Don't even EMP the alarm for example. It goes smoothly if the op stays in its default status.
