    Despite Everything

Despite whatever we expected the new character to be, whether it is lazy or not or whatever other issues that were risen within the community. I want to still thank the devs to giving us content and keeping this game alive, it is one of a kind and it is game that gave us all great joy when playing. Thank you

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us! Have you had an opportunity to test out the Core Combat Update yet? Would love to hear your thoughts on that as well.

Im glad they are still working on the game but this update was a step backwards in balance.

As someone who ran one of the most popular tournament leagues [GCA] no one really cares to compete comptetively cuz the cast isnt balanced. Warmonger is OP on feats & maybe damage is a little high. It wouldnt be as bad if there werent a bunch of inept characters.

Aramusha, Zerker, Orochi, Hito, Shinobi, Nobushi, PK, Zhanhu, all need buffs. Several got nerfs. Makes no sense.

I have played a bit now with the new update and i can say, the extra stamina definitely made things more offensive but just like grippz said, warmonger gameplay wise is LOTS of fun and i didn't feel much overpowering others or being overpowered until i got to use the feats, maybe lower the damage or the radius would at least keep smart gankers close enough and die by surprise, especially that Revenge exist as the anti-gank system. For core update attack speeds and related, some characters definitely lost their "core" gameplay from before making them to certain extent underpowered by a lot. Another thing that needs a bit of tweaking is, though the purpose of the update is to stop light spam, it is still possible with pks, glads (I didn't get to face with the other ones yet). The fact that they have hidden stance allows for a really quick and abrupt attacks which makes parrying lights of that sort becomes more of a luck than proper timing. So far though, not everything about the update is horrible as it is sounding, games are becoming more aggressive and faster paced but it definitely created a huge gap between certain heroes which the community have pointed out and allowed for a new "cheap tactics" if you want to call them to rise, which i mean every game and every update will eventually have, something that can be exploited and some are gonna take advantage of it. Overall, the system needs a bit of tweaking to give parrying more love and buff or adjust the speeds for the characters that are affected.
