There is no real reason to play the story mode anymore besides cosmetics. You can't learn the game through it because it's so outdated and if you try, you'll be hopeless in multiplayer because all your timings will be off. Why not just update it?

I agree. They should receive the updates. However, don't get rid of the minion execution animation there. It's the only thing that keeps the story mode combat fun/interesting.
