    There Are No Black Warriors

    Hi Ubisoft Dev Team,

I have been playing for honor for about a year or 2 now, and I know the game itself is a bit older so not sure if there is still dev work going on, but I wanted to bring up a concern I had about the game. There are only white and asian characters.

Now let me make myself perfectly clear, I love this game and the mechanics that make it work. The expansion of Breach mode is SOOO much fun and I would love to see more objective-based games like that.
But I am finding that the game glorifies these characters, and if there are only white or asian characters ... it is unintentionally glorifying being white and the associated white heritage. Which brings me to my question...

Do you have plans to create segments for African, Hispanic or Native American warriors?
    - The Incans, Mayans and Aztec would all be great options for fast warriors.
    - From Africa, Shaka Zulu from South Africa or Hannibal from Carthage or any of the amazing Moorish warriors who conquered the known world
    - Native Tribes were very feared by American soldiers during westward expansion ... the Kiowa, the Cheyenne "Dog Soldier", the Sioux and Sitting Bull the Apache which named American Military Helicopters or even the Comanche

Just seems like a huge miss that these characters would not be included, but that there have been multiple expansions of the white and Asian characters.

And to clarify, I have heard the comments about "changing the skin tone" and I think that's a huge disservice to what I am looking at. Most characters have helmets on so you can't see. And it doesn't change the fact that there are not traditional "black" vikings. That solution is still missing the point that I want to see warriors from these civilizations come to life in the game.

I look forward to hearing from you and learning more about the roadmap of a game that I thoroughly enjoy playing!

    Thanks,

My main concern with what your suggesting is the time periods some of these warriors would be from. When you talk about the Zulus, Dog Soldiers, and Sitting Bull, you're covering the 1700s and 1800s which takes us into the modern era.

For Honor is primarily a medieval fantasy fighting game. If we're going to branch outside the medieval era, I prefer we go backward rather than forward in the timeline since swords, shields, armour, etc. would be more common.

If we start including modern warriors then that may give way to modern weapons and gear such guns, as well as ultimately water down the overall identity of this game and the fantasy it is selling.

To be honest, when it comes to new factions/heroes, the devs should be more focused on what is the most popular with the community and enhancing the fantasy, rather than diversity for the sake of it. They included a Chinese faction and overall reception was mixed, which is something that can't afford to repeat.
