Warmonger Tier 1 Feat is OBVIOUSLY OP

How can they be so daft is to give that corruption AOE as a tier 1 feat to Warmonger? It could be argued it would be OP even for tier 4. Not only does it completely control the battlefield and is the best gank protection imaginable but even in a 1v1 scenario it can be applied to instantly wipe out ALL minions in the area. Better off just leaving warmonger to take mid in every match uncontested. All the other feats seem to only boost this effect with the tier 4 feat being placed around the Warmonger which is very powerful as you become battlefield control in motion which is wicked.

Granted i guess we need to see how it plays out in reality but I predict its gonna cause hell and a ton of complaints.

Every feat is pretty insane. I didnt see a real issue, but after someone bringing up: "Imagine a team of 4 Warmongers..." There is definately going to be a feat nerf with her, if not, then im 100% convinced Ubi does not care about this game anymore.

I'd say it's a fairly accurate prediction. I'm sure her feats or herself would get banned from tournaments as well.

It's pretty much agreed upon by the entire community that her feats are beyond busted.

If they didn't let her T1 effect minions it would still be a powerful zoning tool but not an instant "I own B" feat. Even Nuxia's caltrops at least need to be placed properly in order to not kill her own minions. I think her T2 and T3 are fine barring that her T3 boosts the damage ticks of the AoE. I do not think that should be a thing because her T4 introduces AoE application and overlapping rings already increase the damage both people take.

Her T4 is just boring. AoE application isn't a bad idea but it's done in such a brain dead way. I'd have much rather they make it be a spread effect. Like you mark someone for corruption and then if people get near him he produces the AoE and if you touch the AoE you also become a carrier of it. Kind of like infection but multiple people can carry it. Or hell just copy paste Hitokiri's mark effect. She marks someone for corruption. Said person is executed/dies and then leaves a lingering pool of DoT that if you step in not only damages you but makes you a carrier of said corruption.

The sad thing is if both her T1 and T4 are banned in skrims then her other 2 feats become useless. Which could likely mean no Monger allowed in skrims. I have no doubt that sometime within the 2 week period of early access she's going to get her feats nerfed as they blatantly break both popular game modes. Even if her feats get properly addressed they're still stall feats and we all know everyone loves dealing with a Jorm. /s

It's weird. Normally I feel like feat design for dlc heros is decent to good and the main kit itself is what is lacking. But Polly pocket over here seems to have the opposite problem.

What they'll do is they'll keep her busted for the fortnight that you pay eight ******g dollars for early access to use her (They've beaten the dead horse into mush, now they're going to sell you the mince before they cut the cord on this game), and then proceed to absolutely nerf her into the ******g ground with subsequent patches.

Ubisoft can't do sensible balancing. They tilt to either extreme.

Just don't gank. That's all there is to it. See a Warmonger, 1v1 or play it smart and do switch outs

Well yeah kinda goes without saying, at least in theory. It's kind of your only option. But having only one hero with complete and vicious gank protection and arguably the most complete kit we've seen should be a no brainer to the balance team.

Not to mention, expecting pubs to reliably switch out or to leave u to your 1v1 is wishing thinking at it's best.

Lastly, given the potential for toxicity we've all surely experienced in this lovely game of ours just imagine trolling capabilities the corruption mechanic being sov easily accessible provides... i can already taste the salt.

Works till you notice that Ubi almost always needs a entire month or more to make a balance patch about the new hero.

I think you don't realize how many situations you would need to leave or how many times you will just surrender a point in order to apply the "strategy" you just talk about (no gank, always switch out but also you forgot no fight against her on B or group fights if she is among the opponents).

By definition this will easly affect the game enough to determine the team which is going to win.
