absolutely agree!
The only reason Far Cry stands out to any other singleplayer fps game is because of it's map editor. I couldn't give less of a sack that Giancarlo Esposito is in the game, if it doesn't have a map editor. It's the reason we still have a playerbase in Far Cry 5. It's what extends the longevity of a Far Cry game drastically. I was completely baffled they decided to not make the map editor or general arcade a standard feature in the game, it's what makes Far Cry as it is. It's the true blood of Far Cry in that it was created as an engine for another game and the map editing was for experimenting. I have played every Far Cry game multiple times and I own several copies of each of the games for PC and Playstation, but I will definitely NOT be buying Far Cry 6, and Far Cry New Dawn will be the last Far Cry game I ever play and I only bought that to finish the story of Far Cry 5 as it featured a very good story though I was aware it wouldn't feature map editor as it uses the same assets as Far Cry 5, but Far Cry 6 be a full-game. When they say it will be the biggest game to date and then they decide to not make the MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE because they're lazy. I would rather see the game delayed by a month or 2 than see it released and then it won't say Far Cry 6 and instead "MW8: guerilla warfare". It's not a Far Cry game without the map editor and to Ubisoft: I will no longer buy any of your future games if this does not become a feature. I love Ubisoft and it's always been my favourite, but this will put you on my ****list for sure.. and unless you get management to make some serious changes I will just say one thing, good luck with your game. It will be dead within a month or 2 and so will the franchise. Thanks for reading!
