Is there gonna be one and if so why isn't there a FAR CRY 6 forums yet? Mappers always get forgotten. Then others will say FAR CRY franchise always been about single player. Well if there's no map editor I would of never joined this franchise back then for FAR CRY 2 then.
Still the moderators here didn't even create a FAR CRY 6 map editor forum. They just recently added player support forum for all platforms. Heck pre-order is up already for the XBOX1 store. Why pre-order if they don't spill the beans? Or UBISOFT just not confident in their own product? Bad enough the mapper community got burned in the last few installments.
When Far Cry 4 was announced in E3 2014, they also advertised multiplayer as 2 player co-op. While yes we couldn't make multiplayer maps in that game, we still got the map editor and its trailer. This Far Cry 2 Crazy Maps trailer and Speed Mapping trailer videos were uploaded shortly before Far Cry 2 is released. The same applied to Far Cry 3 Map Editor Trailer, Far Cry Arcade and Far Cry Instincts. Just be patient. We'll get it.Originally Posted by GRAW2ROBZ Go to original post
Mappers been burned since FAR CRY 3 till date.Originally Posted by KrayZee_ Go to original post
Story mode is repetitive attacking outposts and hunting and crafting. Heck FAR CRY 5 I was sprinting down mountains and what not to get to the next area of boring-ness..... FAR CRY series campaign's all the same attacking outposts and what not and chat to ai players and attack and what not. Get's old fast. Shocked people fall for it these days. *YAWN* I sure don't buy FAR CRY to see a boring repetitive story mode. lol But when UBISOFT is lazy and neglects the multiplayer and map editor it's pretty much a waste of money then. Quick boring cash grab.
Good grief. I'm just repeating myself before, at least Far Cry 5 is in the step to the right direction.Originally Posted by GRAW2ROBZ Go to original post
Actually they did it for all Far Cry games. They showcased Far Cry 1's story in E3 2003, Far Cry Instincts in E3 2004 and 2005 and Far Cry 2 in E3 2008. Far Cry 3 didn't change that, but Vaas's insanity monologue made the series mainstream.Originally Posted by WildCassowary Go to original post

You really do have a narrow perspective. There's a lot of things they did for Far Cry 5 that's steering away from the multiplayer of Far Cry 3 & 4, and if Ubisoft stays this course, we'll get more of what we want. There are things that Far Cry 5 did better than Far Cry 2 ever did, such as placeable weapons, customizable loadouts, customizable characters, and DLC that contributed to the map editor, unlike Far Cry 2 and its Fortune Pack DLC. You could do no such thing in Far Cry 2.Originally Posted by GRAW2ROBZ Go to original post
