The Tactical Mk. 16 has been a long-time favourite, since I first found one at some point following launch. However, very few seem to drop for me, and even fewer with decent rolls. Despite that it remains my number 1 choice for an Assault Rifle. My back-up pistol is almost always a Tactical 1911.

Generally I use what I'm in the mood for or whatever takes my fancy; might be a Military AKM, Harmony, Baker's Dozen, G36C, the Sig 552, L86 (either version), Sweet Dreams or Cuélebre, or any number of others. Latest one I've been having a lot of fun with, surprisingly, is the Mk.16! I found one with good rolls and in its current state its a good giggle for Challenging and lower.

It does kick but it’s meant for body shots anyway unless you need a shield repair, then one quick headshot and it’s back to body shots. I honestly still use it more than Regulus, which I only use if I feel like being obnoxious to groups.

I'm far more effective with a fast shooting semi-automatic. Pistols have some of the highest natural headshot multipliers in the game, and yet they use that trash target reticle. Throw the kick of the Liberty(which nonsensically can't be mitigated with weapon handling), and it becomes as InfamousClub said: Not fun.

I had a full rolled one in my stash. Tried it in the federal bunker last night, pretty strong thanks Ponder, Jack & OP!

Found time to play and test the Super 90.
Damn, that thing is brutal! And Insync on it works well with a shield to trigger the bonus, too.
I'm officially a convert.

I've got a 1% shy of godroll tactical mk16 when i was farming for weeeks trying to get a p416. It became of the oldest and most used guns i have since Gear 2.0.

Personally i find the 600 to 650 RPM/ROF AR's to be the perfect guns for distance killing.

My max rolled Tac MK16 and ACR are perfect for that, the FAMAS and C-TAR are way better for closer engagements.

Main Character (Heroic)
I have a God rolled Honey Badger that I've had since about 30 seconds after I hit level 40. 109K damage, 790 rpm, 6% armour, 21% health damage and strained. Although I don't get a barrel mod slot with it I've not yet found a weapon that does a better job and how long has WONY been out now? I run it with the bulletking because Heroic is ******** now.

4th Character (Easy plus Hard speed runs) This build is mainy for trolling, like bleed 200 enemies kinda nonsense.

Police M4. I know FAMAS is best AR, but i really love stability of M4.
