Long story short. Open world is my favorite part of the game and I just found out how much better it actually can be in a full group, in heroic. I also see now why some things are designed the way they are. I mean you can definitely have fun while solo, but the game really shines much brighter and has a much better flow in a full group of good players. My teammates were awesome by the way. Everything just seemed to click.
how nice for you.Originally Posted by ET-Parabola Go to original post
i see the appeal of solo, but this game is best played in a group. many of the "i only want solo, also solo raid and everything" somehow play the wrong game.
it is so much more fun when you do stuff together, watch each others backs, interact with skills, use skills to help others, pick them up and not be dead every time you get downed

Also, yeah that's a huge part of what made it so fun. Even though no one was talking (language barrier), for the most part we all seemed to be on the same page. Moving together at the right times and focusing on the same threats. We all watched each others back too, that's something very important to me and it really is a must all through out the game, whether you like who your grouped with or not.
About skills, I also agree. I was running pulse so we knew what was where at all times. Vanguard talent on chest, providing a little extra armor for people when fit starts to hit the shan feels good. I'm still working on my timing though, it takes a lot of situational awareness and anticipation while also making sure I still have a shield when I need it.
Playing in a group really is the best way to experience the game, not to mention that you get a lot more loot too, as well opposed to playing solo. Nothing beats the joy in running missions and Open world with a good group. The sad part is you rarely find such when doing random MM. But when you do indeed, it is a lot of fun. Fighting 5 Rogues in a group with 3 other players is the most fun I had in this game.

Easily the best way to play this game. It just gets so chaotic at times and I love it.Originally Posted by ET-Parabola Go to original post
Yeah, I wish there were more options in matchmaking to set up this kind of experience more often. Everything that starts to get a little annoying at times when playing solo becomes something I just can't get enough of. We only had the one rogue encounter that didn't particularly go well but I was just itching for another go. And yes, loot was everywhere lol!Originally Posted by Deathlyhearts Go to original post
