UbiSoft's support is an absolute joke. One example, it took them three weeks to answer my ticket about TD2 crashing to desktop and their response was to simply tell me that my graphics drivers were out of date. And even after I told them that they were the latest up to date drivers three weeks back when I originally raised the ticket and have since been updated to the latest version they failed to grasp that concept and just kept on telling me that my drivers were out of date. Then they told me my version of Windows was out of date. It wasn't, apparently they don't know the difference between a Windows version and a Windows build. After I'd pointed that to them they stopped replying and just ignored me.

    They really are shocking.

    Hello Nifol,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Our team is trying to reach every player back as soon as it's possible. Apologies for the delay.

I just checked your case and based on your diagnostic files provided, your GPU drivers are outdated by 6 months, I'm afraid and that's why this information has been provided by our Support. The latest version from nVidia driver has been released this month, where your drivers are from January 2020. Updating the driver is one of the troubleshooting steps, as in most cases it helps to resolve the software conflict.

In this case, can you please update your drivers and upload fresh diagnostic files to your case, so our team can investigate? Many thanks and apologies for any inconvenience caused by this. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Heh. Welcome to Ubisoft Support hell. The first step is to telling you to update your drivers. Next, they will want you to go through each and every one of your startup items, disabling them one at a time and rebooting after each one to see if that solves the problem. After that, they will weaponize the config files you sent them so that they can find as many ways as possible to blame your system instead of trying to resolve your problem. Have fun following the script.
