Add option to turn off falling down inclines and also add jumping to the game.

The concept of a stamina based falling down inclines for immersion is a cool one I'll give them that.
The problem is when you skip over the basics like jumping to add more complex things like this sliding system.
The fact I cant jump and get hitched on everything is more immersion breaking than the immersion added by sliding.
To make this worse the sliding implementation is awful Why can't a trained operator run down stairs without falling all over themselves.
The game thinks stairs are too steep and if you take them at speed you fall all over.

A easy option would be to allow players to turn off the slide system in settings.
The addition of a jump would also be nice. If jumping cannot be added fine but overhaul your controls, wild lands and the division 1-2 are far more fluid than this game.

Something needs to be done to improve responsiveness of climbing and base jumping and other core functions.
As it sits I have to fight the game controls more than my enemies in game.
Because covering to a ladder 5 times before getting the prompt to climb to work while getting shot at is immersive, followed by me running for cover and falling down a staircase to see I've finally cleared the base and go to base jump off the cliff its on only to face plant down a cliff side 15 times.

Who ever gave the okay on this feels like they hit their head one to many times base jumping for real.
Fixing the core function of controls would go a long way to improving this title.

The issues seem to mostly stem from movement and interaction. For example the trigger radius for prompts for climbing may be too small.
Which is why we find ourselves licking the ladder and doing some weird dry hump motion to try to get it to work.

The "can I jump off of this? let's find out, oh, I'm dead now" part of the game absolutely sucks. I don't know why they got rid of the jump button from Wildlands. Terrible decision.

There was no jump button in Wildlands. You could press a button to perform a base jump at the edge of an elevated position, but this was a contextual action.

Having said that, the base jumping in Breakpoint was very bad compared to Wildlands at launch, but it has been greatly improved since then.
