Honest opinion - I'm buying PF so that I can fly the B25, do carrier landings, etc etc. I'm NOT buying it for perfect water. I see it mentioned so many times on the forum - whats the point?
I mean, as far as I'm concerned, the farther AWAY from this 'perfect water' I stay, the better don't you think?

Aren't we concentrating a little too much on the eye candy and not on the actual gameplay?

Well, if I MUST bail out, I just have to land in "perfect" water. Have you ever tried swimming in "excellent" or just "average" water? Your likely to drown if your water is anything less than "perfect".

    he's got a point.
I tried filling my pool with "average" water the other day...
I lost 3 friends, and almost drown myself.
From now on, i will make sure i own a beefy computer before i swim, so as perfect water is possible.
But hey, if your computer's got the balls to run Perfect water, why not whine about it?

    Whats with Perfect Water anyway?

    Nice to mix w whisky?

Notice: Dont place the bottle of whisky too close to the bottle of water....
You risk spoiling the good whisky.

I thought they fixed the torpedo-drop-altitude thing. Therefore, if I'm making a torpedo run, I want to be fairly close to the water.

I don't "need" perfect, but it's nice to know it's there if I want it.

That sounds like fun. Unfortunately there is no arrester hook on the B-25, so you may end up swimming in the perfect water. The B-25 is excellent to fly BTW - I flew one in a campaign mission that involved flying the length of New Guinea to drop bombs on a non-existant target. I whiled away the cruise by reading the placards around the cockpit, and then keeping the RPM and manifold pressure within limits. Then the game crashed as I was RTB, and I started a A6M2-D campaign.
