I think we're done here, especially as you clearly have no idea about budgeting, prioritization, code management or software development in general. Also gotta love the "ubi shill" accusation when someone points out the bigger picture for you.
I think you also don't have any idea about budgeting, prioritization, code management or software development in general! If the people in the professional position are doing their job correctly they will not have this problems!
Budget guy= we don't have budget to invest in playtester or internal manpower to testing the game! Project manager= ok guys no event this time.... CASE CLOSE! This happen in the real world of professionals work done with responsibility and no excuses needed ..

Do you know the exact situation of the devs? No, you do not. Just because you happen to be in software dev (guess what, I am too, and pretty succesful at it too) does not mean you know anything about this particular situation. So that means you're just making up excuses for the devs based on your own (most likely wrong) assumptions.

And you do this in every single ******g thread. Always making excuses for the devs and never extending that same courtesy to people who have serious complaints. You talk about empathy for the devs when showing exactly ZERO empathy for people with problems. In every single ******g thread. That's pretty much the definition of a shill. Don't like being called that? Stop being a shill.

@KarmaBullets, Scootsu and others: just put these folks on your ignore list. They add zero constructive value, don't waste your time on engaging them.

Another person who didn't read the comment they're responding to. I expect you would have been one of the first to complain if the event had been cancelled.

What's hilarious is that I started the very thread you're posting in. The one demonstrating the problem

Maybe I should really lean into this.

Let's try and get this back on topic. I don't want to close the thread, since the issue is still ongoing and the Ubi staff can give insight in the progression, but let's turn away from the "shilling" arguments and the software development discussion we have no insight in.

Just to add to the list. I've got exactly the same issue, completed all tasks for all four days, went in to claim the rewards, just to see that there already claimed ???

Well them, what is the problem? You aren't playing for the rewards cache anyways, right?

It's very easy to throw out claims of incompetence when one does not prove their own competence to do so. You should decide how you want to be treated by imagining a world where do not know who you are in that world. In this case, a person doing their job and committing an error for any number of unknown reasons and being accused of incompetence. It's called the veil of ignorance or Rawls law. look it up It does require empathy and the ability to self-reflect.

I am not saying it is not frustrating or that you have no right of complaint. Rather, that complaint should be based upon the tools and evidence available to you. You have no idea of the who why or what of this error occurring. Asserting incompetence as a fact is both a post hoc fallacy and an ad hominem. Neither of which are valid ways to arrive at the truth.
Steady there, thats far too rational thinking for this forum
