No one forces Lawbringer to attack, most will still just react to you.
People go defensive because it pretty much suicide to go offensive against Lawbringer.
Also buffs and nerfs won’t do, what he needs is a re-rework.
He is defensively overloaded, saying Lb is fine is pretty big lie when you consider that the hero is a hero on training wheels.Originally Posted by TrueSoul1 Go to original post
Not to mention that the re-work did not fix Lbs problem, it’s a flawed rework.
And then you need to nerf Parry punish, shove, zone attack, top light and impale.Originally Posted by Lord.Warden. Go to original post
Parry punish is already nerfed to 40 damage just like any other character's light parry punish. I say take away the hyper armor on the shove to balance it out if you give him the feintable hyper armor flip. Everything else is fine.Originally Posted by Gaser. Go to original post
The flip is pretty much beaten by any hero that has a quick bash in his kit.Originally Posted by Lord.Warden. Go to original post
Congrats Shove is now pretty much useless and dead tool.
400ms top light ain’t fine because it shuts down any combo pressure in the game.
Impale also isn’t fine, it’s a 300ms Attack and allowes him to do nasty over 100 dmg Ganks just by himself.
Zone needs a nerf because unlocking with it in the minion lane makes it unpunishable for any hero that does not have a full block counter move. (Funny enough that is one of the reasons why Aramusha is currently considered a viable pick in comp)
Honestly Lb is what Shinobi was, a unfun Defensive mess you can’t really fix without a re-rework.
- The flip won't be beaten because he will be able to FEINT it and it will have hyper armor. Simply feint it then quickly dodge shove someone like CONQUEROR who dodge bashed you.Originally Posted by Gaser. Go to original post
- The 400 ms TOP light is getting fixed with the combat updates. It will become 500 ms.
- Impale can be argued in dominion, but so can conq's running bash, and raider's running charge, and many others with similar pinning moves. However, in 1v1, which is what I'm mostly talking about here, I don't find it to be a problem at all.
- His zone can use some tweaks like increasing its recovery time so it can't be spammed.
