So as I'm typing this down, I thought of a new Player Vs AI gamemode that revolves around teamwork between your allies by going through diffrent places with a main objective that has a chance to change you and your allies story named Conquest.
As you advance throught different missions in the form of Chapters, just like arcade and its random set of enemies, your given a story of your actions as you travel across the land except you actually have cutscenes of you and your allies as the characters you play as and advance into the mission. The main objectives will range around from defeating all enemies to destroying the enemies resources, killing their captains, capturing objectives points, and killing their commander. As each mission as acessed by the actions you do, for example finding a secret objective in the form of something supernatural like the hammer from the jormungander event or small details that appear randomly like the black prior or Cult of Horkos symbols appearing around the map, it can change the way the story continues from normally fighting against another imposing forces such as Kinght legions, Viking clans, and Samurai Clans to finding secrets behind the team your truly working for and going against them and ending their reign.
The way this gamemode is ment to be is to make a legacy for yourself, along with your friends and becoming legends as you gain different titles for yourself to special rewards and things that could've been possible such as having an emote that makes both you and your ally taunt together, just like in For Honors alpha state when its gameplay was first shown. The rewards extends on how the difficulty is of the quest, ranging from common to legendary, and to a new difficulty known as godlike. The rewards, exp, and steel extends along with the difficulty to how much you would get to the point where you are guarenteed to have special and new effects like flaming embers on kinght armor or blue glowing eyes for vikings to represent mythical beings and mythlogical gods.
Conquest works as a gamemode where insted of 4 players against AI, it can work as 6 to 8 players against randomly, generated AI that gets stronger with every mission completed along with modifiers, and synergies that work together like peacekeeper and shaman, centurion and jorm, ect.
The final mission within Conquest will result in fighting throught captains, heroes, guardians, leading up to the commander as the Final Boss. If the difficulty of the conquest quests are Godloke, it should have a chance to have the final boss spawn in as a corrupted version and mich more powerful version of the story heroes.
In the end of the Conquest mission, depending on the result of your actions or from where they came from, like the samurai deciding to commit suicide to honor their fallen samurai or having the past haunt them forever due to their code, or having a knight hero travel across the land to continue creating peace for everyone or becoming a king or tyrant, then gaining rewards like armor effects related to either making a refrence to a game series like Dark Souls and having the option to keep the apperance of the effect on you at all times without having to be idle, emoting or performing an execution l, making the imagination of what you want your character as into a reality.
In conclusion, Conquest should be able to change how the community thinks about the game and to keep it more of a purpose to have different things that can halpen to keep the player interested as Conquest can work as a largee extension without playing the same gamemodes with the same maps constantly, and if the 8 player vs AI idea doesn't work, then a 4vs4 that can change into a 8vsAI can also work.
