    Seeker mine

Started TD1 again. On level 11 I can kill one red enemy with turret, but damage from the seeker mine is a real joke. Seeker mine does almost no damage. Developers just kill this skill before sequel. Good job Ubi (No!)

I'm lvl 11 so I use base variant without any mods. It's absolutely useless

They are great once you are spec'd into them. At end game, with a pure-electronics build, they one set of seeker grenades will kill ~6 red level enemies. For a one hit kill, it generally takes the BFB. Remember that for skills to be powerful, you have to spec into Electronics which of course reduces the amount you have for firearm damage or stamina. On the legendary missions, a Tacticians build (or variant of) is often the build of choice for trying to solo that content. This works mostly because you are generally out of sight and not taking much damage, but one must watch for the rushers.
Also, take not that once you start getting purple, and on to yellow weapons, some talents on them will provide a boost to the skills as well as shooting. Things like Destructive, Ferocious, Determined, etc serve double-duty. But, anything involving critical hits do not affect skills of any type.
