I'm going to try that. The overlay impacts performance for Far Cry 6 also. Common issue with Ubisoft games and their Uplay overlay.

I have been having issue about a week before motherland hit. At first Vulkan wouldn't open. I fixed that by deleting Vulkan in the game files, and on my PC and reinstalling it. However that only worked for 1 play session. I then figured out I need to disable my APU and reenable it every time I play the game.

Next I hit performance issues, I somewhat made it stand able my lowering my settings and running win10 mods that make it run lighter. However it seemed that no matter the setting Breakpoint always preformed around the same (medium 1080p, preformed the same a s low 768p). Next Motherland Hit and the performance was terrible. 35fps no matter the resolution or quality settings. I tried driver rollbacks to 472.12, and that didn't work. I then brought them back to the latest one and installed the new patch Nvidia released for breakpoint. That fixed the texture issues, but not performance. I then disabled the UBI connect in game overlay and that seemed to somewhat fix it. I still feel like I am getting lower then I should be getting (53-65fps 900p), but it works. However for the last two days I have been getting performance issues 30min into a game session, and whenever I drive a vehicle of any kind. It crashes to 15-8 fps and completely breaks the game.

I am really getting tired of dealing with this. It ran fine during the summer with no issues what so ever on Vulkan. But for the past 2 weeks it has been abysmal. At this point I can't tell if its an Nvidia issue, or a Breakpoint issue. However I am leaning more towards breakpoint. I am lost on what to do now.

    My specs:
    R5 4600h
    Gtx 1650
    16gb ddr4 3200mhz
    1tb hdd

EDIT: Breakpoint has almost become unplayable. The inconsistent performance is driving me nuts. I may just have to abandon the game till some type of hot fix is implemented, or we figure out what the issue is.

    +1 to this issue.

Just here to +1 this. I'm really appreciating this new patch, however, I literally cannot play it due to the stuttering, CPU usage, RAM usage, freezing, FPS drops.

    Basic specs:
    i5 4997k
    1080ti
    16GB

I've ran Vulcan and DX, Vulcan is considerably worse. I ran DX on medium settings and even set the FPS to 30max but feels like I'm playing a PS2/PS3, still stutters, so then I just go back to very high/ultra, same stutters, but more frequently. I cannot even drive without the drop in FPS hiccups.

I've search tons of resources to improve performance on my own. It's the typical update drivers, close unused programs, lowered setting where I could, checked RAM availability. Reinstalled game. The works.

I'm still playing the patch, but it's definitely been a frustrating experience.

For real did you try disabling the uplay in-game overlay? I had this exact same issue and it fixed it 100% for me.

All that did was change me from 30 fps and stuttering/freezing to 55 fps and stuttering/freezing. Still runs like ****.
