    [BUG] Share Item In Chat Not Working

    Item Linking Not Workinng
    • The "Link Item in Chat" function no longer works, and has not worked since TU10 launched. You can send the link, but hovering over it or clicking it will not bring the item up to look at.
    • To reproduce, get in a group. Have another group member link and item in chat. Attempt to examine item in chat. Note, you can view your own items with no problems, but you cannot view items posted by other people.
    • The item should come up next to that chat box.
    • The item does not appear anywhere, it is impossible to see the stats.
    • Reproduction Rate: ~75%

    To clarify, it's been broken since TU9.1: https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...irst-5-minutes

    As you note, it works interimittently, but there doesn't seem to be any common factor for when it won't.

    Something to check, inside your chat make sure you have "Show My Loot" and "Show Group Loot" under notifications are unchecked. This has worked for myself and multiple clan members.

    the workaround isn't helping, as soon as something is in chat, if someone replies, a damage number etc.
    it breaks the whole thing

    This happens from TU8 actually. and they never solved it. It is something very useful and necessary, especially in this game that is massive farming.

    Two clips, the first link works, but as soon there is something in chat, like a reply or loot etc. it breaks.
    If you scroll your chat to the initial position the link was posted it works again, but only for the frist item. The second one (mantis) doesn't work at all.

    @ubi-mark, they introduced it in TU9 which was working, and promptly broke it in TU9.1. Go back to version control and see what the changes then made.
