@ Megladon26 this is one of the things I just can’t understand with Ubisoft, I understood the NDA’s before the game released but after everything that’s happened with this game what they desperately need more hype and anticipation for the Fan-base, removing the NDA’s and letting people like Al and the CM’s openly talk about what the devs have in the pipeline would bring a well needed boost to the fan base and generate a more optimistic outlook.
Once again they have a golden opportunity here to finally openly engage with the fan base to keep moving in the right direction and get this game back on course even if it was just one developer on here who interacted regularly and gave us regular updates, or who we could pose questions to directly
The problem with this is assuming Ubi even knows what they want to do with this franchise.Originally Posted by Sandilands85 Go to original post![]()
These two things need to be tattooed on the developers' foreheads immediately. Maybe then the idea will finally stick, ha, who am I kidding these devs don't care enough to actually engage the community with open meaningful dialogue. I would love to be proven wrong though.Originally Posted by TrickShady Go to original post
Ha, I'm really not sure if they know how to go about improving the communication, to be honest since the moving forward letter when the promised to improve, still nothing apart from a few patch note updates early. Toon goes out of her way to engage with us it's just a shame the rest of the studio don't follow suit.Originally Posted by Church367A Go to original post
Dude, give it a rest and stop telling people what to do. They are not going to lock the thread, there is no abuse or flamming and the lack of communication is apart of the problemOriginally Posted by WildTroup21 Go to original post
The top portion of the quote is spot on and pertinent to the discussion at hand. As for communication that is something that has been lacking since Wildlands, possibly even prior to that game. Both are relative to righting the many failures that have lead breakpoint down this path and keep them from actually releasing updates that contain things that are a step forward with a step back.
Communication for example can completely reassure the community that they have heard and are planning to keep one of the few positives this game has seen since release. Communication could also reassure and clear up that they understand our desires with gunsmith in that they may have lacked the time to implement the usage of some of the newly added optics to a wider variety of firearms. Both are relative and needed improvements.
Pretty much. Honestly I love having the team mates and the live event. The bugs are all still there, the lack of content still there, the crappy gunsmith, messed up cosmetics (and the stupid freakin belt), the poor AI etc etc etcOriginally Posted by Bone_Frog Go to original post
The main reason the team mates and live event work is it is sheer chaos. I am constantly rolling into escalating conflicts and I love how the enemy AI gets caught in the battle and doesn't just zero in on me all the time. It allows me to act almost as if I am in a fight with other humans who are also distracted. If the rebel activity ceases it will be a bizarre transition and we will be left with team mates that aren't really that useful in the more tactical situations versus the chaos. All the rest of the stuff listed above will still be there.
I'll be real hard pressed to give Ubi another dime if they allow this game to deflate now.
Pure speculation on my part here as the news that they would be turned off is a complete surprise. It could already be too late if the next build is committed to or content coming requires them to be turned off for a while. The absence of a rebel presence toggle on xbox is strange.Originally Posted by Bone_Frog Go to original post
It may not be much, but an open and frank conversation with the community would at least help everyone understand why the game is taking the turns it is and help salvage some of the goodwill.
