We are both on english, never changed it. I dont have crashes, but my bro does. We wasted 5 hours sunday trying to play the game together... wasted our entire day that he had time to play. THANKS UBISOFT

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing crashes. Can I ask you to try the following:

Run the game with ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS.

    Verify your game files.
It is possible that the installation of your game is faulty. To fix this, please verify your game files:

    UPLAY

    EPIC GAMES LAUNCHER
    STEAM

    Disable Background Applications.

Make sure your OPERATING SYSTEM is UP TO DATE.

    Reinstall Uplay.

    Update your GPU Drivers:

    AMD
    NVIDIA

Should the issues persist after completing the above steps, please GET IN TOUCH, attaching DXDIAG and MSINFO reports to your SUPPORT CASE.

    Thank you.
You are aware players had a running system prior to actually buying the game?
Same dirvers, same hartdware, same ghost recon, same uplay.
Everything worked until we bought the game. I dare say that the problem is with Ubisoft.

I purchased the game on release so has nothing to do with the post-trial purchase because I have the same issues. Sometimes I can't even choose the profile I want to play with, sometimes I get as far as customizing my "immersive experience level" and that's it. The game crashes as if I press ALT+F4 and just to **** me up the game "synchronises" afterwards. What a waist of time. Coming back after weeks to the same pile of crab when I left.

I had the exact same experience. I was playing without issue, picked up one of the upgraded editions, and after that it became impossible to play.

It has something to do with buying the game. AFAIK Players who bought the game before the free weekend had issues since the update (Thursday).
New players could play since Thursday until they bought the game, or in other words since the in game shop is accessible and they are spammed with things to buy in the main menu.

Guys - there is a workaround..

Once you get to the connected screen CTRL_SHIFT-ESCAPE or ctr alt del, go to task manager, DETAILED tab, right click on GRB and set affinity. Set to 1 core (core 0) for this screen. As soon as you are past this screen can add all your cores again.
