Hey, POP_King_Delica!
Sorry to hear that you are experiencing crashes. Can I ask you to try the following:
Run the game with ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS.
Verify your game files.
It is possible that the installation of your game is faulty. To fix this, please verify your game files:
UPLAY
EPIC GAMES LAUNCHER
STEAM
Disable Background Applications.
Make sure your OPERATING SYSTEM is UP TO DATE.
Reinstall Uplay.
Update your GPU Drivers:
AMD
NVIDIA
Should the issues persist after completing the above steps, please GET IN TOUCH, attaching DXDIAG and MSINFO reports to your SUPPORT CASE.
Thank you.
That stuff was tried at nauseam already. This has occured since the update.
A whole bunch of us tried the updated immersive version because of the free weekend. We played it ... was a great experience ... we purchased the game.
As soon as we purchased the game it STOPPED working ... That is pretty f**ked. So can you please stop insulting us with "Verify your installation" posts and give us a legitimate estimate on when it will be fixed. I've sent numerous crash reports already. I would like to get some idea what is going on.
At the moment we do not have a timeframe we are able to share, the Dev team is investigating the issue.Originally Posted by POP_King_Delica Go to original post
Thanks for that honest reply. It is so much nicer getting a specific reply than a cut and paste.Originally Posted by Ubi-Viral Go to original post

None of the 'fixes' or 'canned responses' are solving the issues with the crashes.
I've not crashed yet*, but my brother (virtually the same hardware/software specs) cannot either get beyond LOAD, or Click on Character. Its gotta be some server character corruption issue or whatever (he is located in a different part of the USA than I). Its NOT our hardware (game was running just fine before). He has verified files so much, deleted files, wiped configs and saves and disabled cloud sync, turned off every living thing he can think of, and all that jazz. Still crashy crash for him.
Ubisoft need to fix the problem, and stop blaming the customer.
