    Here's me catching a lift with a Rebel pilot after a hostage rescue mission... It would be very cool if this was available on-demand...

    Meanwhile back in 2009:

    01:03:00 minute mark.
    I've posted this video elsewhere, as it showcases what this game was doing in regards to commanding Teammate's AI 11 years ago, and as you can see it also was capable of having that same AI drive you, OR FLY you anywhere on the map.

    I hitched a ride too. They made a bee line straight for the Outcasts base, but slowed down over a behemoth and got shot down. There’s definitely potential there, I just think we’d need a way to override height and direction if we’re to make it to our destination.
    I’m not sure I’m quite ready to trust Ubisoft to be my pilot.

    I really do love that thread and all the ideas already come up. As for the comparison with Flashpoint / Arma - as I played Arma not long ago and currenty a bit into the modding scene myself it'S amazing what this AI can do - and it's already 7 years old - from 2013! But - the main difference: Arma was designed and developed to take advantage of player created content (they even provide a way to create your own maps although it's rather complicated) - breakpoint, same as all other ghost recon games, will never advance that far. As I write this: Did ubisoft ever released any game designed for player created content except from sims and trackmania?

    I loved operation flashpoint, the game had everything and was miles ahead of Wildlands and breakpoint in terms of a proper tactical game.

    It’s a shame they aren’t making them any more.

    PS. You had torches on your guns in operation flashpoint and no stupid cosmetics or store!

    Yeah! Mentioned that on another thread, however it would seem that in 2020, studios find themselves unable to reproduce the marvels such a lost technology brought into the world 11 years ago.

    It seems Dev Studios can't be bothered or they are content with giving us half assed cosmetic assets. After all, it was a winning formula until they decided to take it a few notches down below half assed with BP.
