Div2 TU10 Sound Issues on XboxOne

    Hello -

Ever since TU10 (and never before that), I’m regularly experiencing a sound issue in division 2 WONY on XboxOne.

At least once every few hours, and seemingly more often since the reset this past Tuesday, Jul 14th, I lose access to some sounds - but not all. A reset of the game (click on game, quit, wait for full restart) always fixes it for a period of time.

When it occurs, I lose access to some sounds. Gunfire is usually still present, NPC movement noises are often not. Skill noises are mixed. So I might still hear a turret shooting but not a drone shooting and also not the drone movement either. No rhyme or reason to it that I can see though so see some others saying it’s NYC-related (and I have been spending a lot of time there with the manhunt and such this week). Also routinely happening on the iron horse raid - and definitely was not as much even last week.... so might be more related to this week’s update/manhunt? Or?

Finally, it’s often not just me having the issue. It seems like my iron horse raid team is constantly having at least one person reset after any boss wipe/stage clear and it’s really impacting playability.

The post with known issues for Xbox doesn’t show anything. Is Ubisoft aware of this issue and/or investigating things? Any addition help/info you might need if that’s the case?

    Best,
    SDBonez

ive had the same issues. last night during an iron horse raid get to the 3rd boss and lost all sounds except explosions it was hard to do the final boss without knowing i was about to get shot. ive had this happen in dark hours as well not hearing the chunga and in countless missions.

This is happening to everyone ever since the release of iron horse. We can't get a decent completion time because we have to quit the game every run to fix our sound. We appreciate the reaction time with the rocket ammo glitch as it ruines the game, we believe this sound glitch is equally detrimental and should have been made more of a priority.

Well, TU 10.1 patch notes make no mention of a fix for this issue. I can only hope that the introduction of Iron Horse and the new season without localized audio left the audio in the game in a state of disarray thereby causing this issue -- and that by adding it in for TU 10.1, this other major issue gets resolved. Fingers crossed. Would love someone from Ubisoft to confirm or comment.

I have still not seen any developer acknowledgement of this issue, or mention that a fix is being worked on. Does anyone have any info on it? It makes the IH raid (which has relatively few bugs) extremely frustrating.

    Hello Agents,

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing sound issues. Could you please sare with us some short recordings of these instances, so we can forward them to the development team? Many thanks and apologies for any inconvenience caused by this. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

@Ubi-Mark, thanks for asking about this. I will provide some stream video (the streams will disappear in about a week, so please get all the info from them as soon as you can), which shows some of the issues, from bosses 3/4. It happens throughout the raid, and to pretty much every team that I have spoken to. For me, closing the game and start over will correct it (for a time), but this is obviously a pain, and it happens to multiple people throughout the raid. Many times, we just end up playing thru it, but it puts everyone at a great disadvantage to be lacking the audio cues that have intentionally been built into the game to let us know when certain things are happening. It is really surprising that the devs have not addressed it at all in SOTG or otherwise, because the bug is so widespread and easy to reproduce (in every raid, it will happen to some/all of the players; it seems to get more common as more and more wipes happen at different phases). The raid has been out for about a month now, and this is the main glitch that we all deal with. While it's great to not have a lot more glitches, this one really makes things difficult and is overdue for correction. Please prioritize this. Thank you!

No music (boss3), no 3rd floor fire sounds. Many times the furnace alarm does not sound reliably, telling the 3rd floor person that the ground level has successfully hit their button on the computer (and they had better jump down from 3rd floor or be killed immediately). No chem launcher, bullet, or explosion sounds either.

Boss4... Shown 2:29:50. No music at all, then it just starts. Shortly after, gone again, etc. Not hearing any audio from NPCs either.

Any more updates in this @ubi-mark ? It’s widespread with the team I raid with (iron horse) - still happening daily for most players. Sorry but I don’t have videos I can share.
