Was the Vector 45 in Far Cry 3, 4, 5 and New Dawn? Yes, it was. That is recycling, returning or reusing. Call it whatever you want. You don’t have to sugar coat it.
The same can be said about the 6P9, desert eagle, MS16, Spas 12, SVD, BZ19 etc.
Manipulating? This is a fact. Comparing the hidden blade with an AK47 or MP5 is an atrocious example that has no correlation whatsoever. Zero. Shooter vs. sword fighting.
After playing 4 Far Cry games with the same guns over and over again you become tired.
Why can we not have something new?
I will keep defending this topic as long as it takes!
Sugarcoat. Wow. Well no matter how much you will keep defending your topic, it won't stop Ubisoft and you know that is a fact. Bringing something new is not the problem here, the problem is that you don't want any of the weapons you listed to return. The AK47 is considered a symbolic weapon especially for insurrection and liberation just like how the hidden blade is symbolic in the Assassin's Creed series. Far Cry kept these themes since 2008 and that's not going away anytime soon. The Desert Eagle is a staple in the series. It would seem strange if these weapons are absent. Here's another comparison, it'll be bizarre if the Lancer with the chainsaw bayonet, Hammer of Dawn, Longshot and Torque Bow are completely gone for Gears of War. The Lancer and the Hammer of Dawn earned their reputation by being symbolic in Gears of War. But since Far Cry uses real world weapons, so did Battlefield and Call of Duty. It would be strange if these weapons are mysteriously gone for a future Battlefield game when they have been around for Battlefield 2, Bad Company 1 & 2, Battlefield 3 & 4.
The reason why I keep telling you that recycling is not the correct word is that I am being literal. You typed out 'copy and paste', which means it's completely 100% identical. Wild-Recon already showed you that the models are completely different and if there are sound comparisons, you will notice it sounds completely different as well. Far Cry New Dawn brought over weapons from Far Cry 5 but you can clearly see the models are completely different. The reloading animations are also different. The Captain seems to have trouble reloading rusty weapons because of how old they are. The makeshift weapons are obviously not identical in appearance. If it really is copy and paste, everything would look exactly the same. You're complaining that Ubisoft is bringing back familiar weapons, but you are not writing out facts when you think they are copying and pasting. New Dawn introduced bayonets on rifles and Far Cry 5 didn't have any. Far Cry 5 brought baseball bats, shovels and pipes but these weapons can only be compared to Far Cry Primal's clubs and spears.
The fact that you think I'm sugarcoating and you think you're writing out facts is ridiculous. It's true they are bringing back the same weapons, what is not true that it is exactly the same. Again, there's nothing wrong with bringing in something new and they're already doing that.
