Was the Vector 45 in Far Cry 3, 4, 5 and New Dawn? Yes, it was. That is recycling, returning or reusing. Call it whatever you want. You don’t have to sugar coat it.
The same can be said about the 6P9, desert eagle, MS16, Spas 12, SVD, BZ19 etc.
Manipulating? This is a fact. Comparing the hidden blade with an AK47 or MP5 is an atrocious example that has no correlation whatsoever. Zero. Shooter vs. sword fighting.
After playing 4 Far Cry games with the same guns over and over again you become tired.
Why can we not have something new?

I will keep defending this topic as long as it takes!
Sugarcoat. Wow. Well no matter how much you will keep defending your topic, it won't stop Ubisoft and you know that is a fact. Bringing something new is not the problem here, the problem is that you don't want any of the weapons you listed to return. The AK47 is considered a symbolic weapon especially for insurrection and liberation just like how the hidden blade is symbolic in the Assassin's Creed series. Far Cry kept these themes since 2008 and that's not going away anytime soon. The Desert Eagle is a staple in the series. It would seem strange if these weapons are absent. Here's another comparison, it'll be bizarre if the Lancer with the chainsaw bayonet, Hammer of Dawn, Longshot and Torque Bow are completely gone for Gears of War. The Lancer and the Hammer of Dawn earned their reputation by being symbolic in Gears of War. But since Far Cry uses real world weapons, so did Battlefield and Call of Duty. It would be strange if these weapons are mysteriously gone for a future Battlefield game when they have been around for Battlefield 2, Bad Company 1 & 2, Battlefield 3 & 4.

The reason why I keep telling you that recycling is not the correct word is that I am being literal. You typed out 'copy and paste', which means it's completely 100% identical. Wild-Recon already showed you that the models are completely different and if there are sound comparisons, you will notice it sounds completely different as well. Far Cry New Dawn brought over weapons from Far Cry 5 but you can clearly see the models are completely different. The reloading animations are also different. The Captain seems to have trouble reloading rusty weapons because of how old they are. The makeshift weapons are obviously not identical in appearance. If it really is copy and paste, everything would look exactly the same. You're complaining that Ubisoft is bringing back familiar weapons, but you are not writing out facts when you think they are copying and pasting. New Dawn introduced bayonets on rifles and Far Cry 5 didn't have any. Far Cry 5 brought baseball bats, shovels and pipes but these weapons can only be compared to Far Cry Primal's clubs and spears.

The fact that you think I'm sugarcoating and you think you're writing out facts is ridiculous. It's true they are bringing back the same weapons, what is not true that it is exactly the same. Again, there's nothing wrong with bringing in something new and they're already doing that.

So, copy and paste of which Ubisoft previous game was For Honor? Or class-based MMO shooter - R6 Siege? Or South Park games - this is a copy paste of which other Ubisoft games? HyperScape - is an another game in long series of Ubisoft Battle Royal games? :-)

Nah, in Russia we don't care all that much about COVID anymore.

And you will get them! Even of fist screenshots there was a LOT of new guns like 2-3 junk guns and FN FAL!

I see quite an opposite: Ubisoft made changed totally game mechanics of Far Cry New Dawn comparing to Far Cry 5 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint comparing to Ghost Recon Wildlands. And it was horrible! This is, actually, great example when players was upset by too much changes.

Yes and it is great! I see no point why developers should remove and of those guns from game. Because, they are really widely used around the world and it is why they should be represented in game as well. :-)

Old Weapons, Far Cry 6 and 2

Argonaut Knight: according to your reasoning football should no longer be played. The ball design is centuries old and the players are doing the same old thing every year. Your criticism can apply at all games and to apply it to Far Cry alone is silly. Maybe Far Cry is not for you?

Gamers Are Petitioning Ubisoft For Far Cry 2 Remaster. The discussion on Gamebyte web site, May 2020, was a few months ahead of the announcement of Far Cry 6, July 2020. Over on Steam, the Far Cry 2: Fortune Edition is still seeing positive reviews to this day. Earlier this month, one user gave the game a positive review, adding: “A very good Far Cry game. Far Cry 2 need a remaster/remake tho.”

Far Cry 2 is now 12 years old and is still played, and it still receives good reviews from new players who try it. Has Ubisoft noticed or paid attention over the years? There is not one tiny bit of evidence to suggest they take notice. But why would Ubi support the forums? Is it just a way to let players harmlessly vent their feelings, like an angry dog tied to a chain? Is Ubi stripping out the forums contents to condense to some useful points? At least that would be useful.

At the risk of this post being just another barking dog, here are some reaons for Far Cry 2 multiplayer elements to be in 6.
Maps: excellent mp maps designed by Ubi, and some excellent maps from the community for download.
Game modes: well suited to the maps. Capture The Diamond foremost.
Tactics to avoid a fire fight: the game allowed run+slide, hard and destructible cover, and jumping through windows to get away. The mp was not just about being the best fast-twitch shooter, there were some but they couldn't dominate the game.
Tactics not button bashing: you have to control your breathing in 2 so running is not just a lot of button bashing.
Tactics - Object Surfaces: players could move up and on most objects on the map, or break them.
Damage v. Healing: a player who survived a hit could hide and heal, so out of the game for a while then re-join.
Ballistics: brilliant maths used for the weapons, like the M79 GL.
Game view: the excellent Crysis engine.

And KrayZee, I agree with you and love your passion but maybe a bit of zen?
