There are some good things here...there are. But many things are just leave me wondering why?! And I know most people are tired of hearing this, and I'm tired of thinking it. But this is all stuff that should have been at launch.

AI teammates in my opinion have worked well for me, and they are a welcome addition. Being able to change colors and camo of recently unchangeable items is nice. Having full customization of AI teams is great! Although we should be able to remove the default assault rifle considering I rarely see them use it. Only when I have a shotgun or a weapon that has no silencer option do I see a squad member use the rifle during sync shot.

However....For an update that was hyped as much as this one....we have almost no new content. No replay value in the game. After about 4 hours....I finished the Resistance missions. Do I just go back to not playing now? We need actual content. And there are literally hundreds of ways to implement this.

First...just let the raid die. No one wanted a raid with bullet sponge sci-fi death robots. If I wanted to play destiny I would. I still prefer the story and uniqueness of WIldlands missions. They just had a certain sense of tension and ...I don't know...challenge? adrenaline? Basically...they were well built. None of these missions in BP generate enough interest to replay.

Ubi gave us the ability to customize things that weren't previously customizable. Yet the new SMG and the Paladin 9 sniper have none of that. I like many of the new optics, but using the paladin 9 optic is depreciated because I cant remove the silencer. Its just a reskin of another rifle. Looks cool...but functionally isnt cool at all.

How long will you make 90 variations of pants, boots, and gloves that all look exactly the same??? Many vests, are the same thing...with such small variations that only a few stand out. Sneakers? Bermuda shorts? I didn't realize our elite ghost was enjoying a comfy vacation into his teens during all this. The bottom line with cosmetics is that no matter how good of an idea it is....few of them are executed well. Causing us to not use them because they look ridiculous, dont fit right, or just have bad design. The ballistic helmet from the store is one. I had left over coins from compensation when my pre order didnt let me use the new classes for weeks...and after buying it...I wont use it. It looks like halo makes a paintball mask, and for some damn reason we cant cover our neck with anything....Because instead of being a helmet...its a mask?

Basically here is the way I see it...This level of improvement is something we should be getting every month starting 6 months ago. This wasn't a massive overhaul...it was taking a game that was a 3 or 4 out of 10 and making it a 5.

Has Ubi learned nothing? We aren't stupid...you cant just add some new skins of crap we already own and call it an update.

We want content. While the Resistance themed missions are nice....Convoy is a little boring, easy and straight forward...but the hostage rescues actually presented a bit of challenge and the camp attacks are fun (if you actually have the setting set to allow a challenge). But once this is over...are we back to the same old press E faction missions? If so...then you got a days worth of play out of me and I'll go back to other games.

Btw I bought Farcry 5 a few days ago for $8.99 on steam....and man are the gun sound effects awesome! No Ubi title should release without gun impact, recoil, and sound like that.

I've tried to hard to stick by this game...but i get the impression Ubi isn't sticking by this game. I feel like there are 4 guys who work on this game part time in between other projects.

So they way I see things...You pushed back other games for this one. And very little was accomplished. Watchdogs has me VERY skeptical and quite honestly doesn't have enough to earn my trust back. The new assassins creed (though still in development) graphically looks like crap, and has no real innovation to the game play. Those of us loyal to Ubi games....have been burned a lot. And yet we still check back to see if anything has changed.

This new update....just didn't have enough to win me back. Quite honestly...too little too late. Maybe, just maybe if there were actual missions to play and a story to enjoy. But there isn't. Just a live event that will disappear, and no one will care or remember. Now I cant stand Call of Duty....but...They have had 4 full seasons of support, regularly updated content, and updates ALL THE TIME. In roughly the same amount of time as Breakpoint. (I think less than a months difference). CoD looks beautiful and the campaign was compelling.

Ubisoft has clearly not put any effort towards salvaging this title....so why should we. 5 out of 10.
