So a couple of things that could improve immersion.

1. Helicopters
It’s too easy to ride round in the sky’s when we are supposed to feel hunted. To counter this they should first add a load of extra SAM sites around the military bases. Secondly if the enemy see a helo go past and land close to a base they should go to investigate and thirdly, rather than a traditional detection gauge, when flying past a base. Sentinel should try and contact you on the radio, asking us to verify who we are, then after we don’t reply they would open fire and call enemy helicopters to pursue. So we would hear them on a radio as we fly away.

This would add to the overall feel of this being an island under enemy control rather than just being able to ride about free everywhere.

2. Wolves spawning
Wolves should not spawn out of nothing. They should spawn in a helo 500m away and then land and deploy. The current spawning system is very lazy and reminds me on an N64 game.

3. Weight
Equipment, guns, ammo, etc should all have weight. You should choose what you should carry and that should dictate your movement, fatigue and overall movement noise.

4. Armour stats
Body armour and helmets that offer protection should offer proper protection. Not silly stats on every item like a cap but a helmet, plate carrier etc should offer more protection at the trade off of weight and noise (as above). It would definitely help the spec ops feel rather than carrying tons of primary, secondary, pistol amo, rockets etc.

5. Fast travel
Let us pop smoke and then get picked up in an outcast helo. It would be easy to implement and help immersion rather than the traditional fast travel option.

6. Enemy patrols
These should be teams of 8 plus and should be less random. They should patrol routes and around bases etc. Having two odd guards in the middle of the woods really breaks immersion and would be silly given there are ghosts about.

Hope these ideas get used to help deliver something more in depth than we have.
