AI teammate weapons
I recently updated breakpoint with the new AI teammates and I have to say, having them in game makes a big difference. It’s much more immersive and dynamic. However there is something that breaks that immersion. The two primary weapons the AI teammates have.
I know one is customizable but it doesn’t make sense to have two different weapons for the same purpose. In wildlands, the AI teammates had one primary and a pistol. I think breakpointa AI team should have one primary and a pistol as well. I understand why you gave them two weapons one for the sync shot and one for an assault but it would be better to give them one primary and a side arm and have them follow nomads lead.
For example, if nomad has a suppressed weapon and his team all have suppressed weapons then the sync shot should give three targets to take out plus nomads target and the sync shot drones targets. However, if nomad decides that one of his teammates is going have an LMG, then he only has two sync shot targets plus his target and the sync shot drone targets to take out. Like wise if nomad has an unsuppressed weapon then he’ll have three targets to take out with the team sync shot. Also if nomad switches to his pistol, his teammates should switch to their pistols accordingly as well. Both suppressed and unsuppressed.
I know it’s a lot to ask for but I feel, with this update and despite some people it being happy with the AI teammates, that the game is headed in the right direction.
