Do I think it could? Sure. Do I think it will? I do not.

We're looking at an April 2021-at-the-earliest window for this, and I don't think we'll hear anything more than 8 months in advance, probably closer to 6 months. I also don't think it's coming in April 2021—my guess is October 2021—so I'm not expecting hearing anything until sometime in 2021.

I kind of agree with saint- unlikely we hear anything anything for the next half a year. They just confirmed they are working on it. There not gonna give us anymore then that ... because they need to develop a lot more. However what I would expect ptgate is a leak. I can almost smell it in the air. As it happens with almost every UBI game lol

I'd be surprised if the game is currently expected to release in 2023, but I don't think it's out of the question that might release in early 2022 (think February/March). All just speculation, of course.

I'm not sure what you / that YouTube comment mean by "fake" or which news is being referred to.

The whole "game is being rebooted" thing has been kicking around for a couple of months thanks to Jason Schreier and it seems like news sites are just now picking up on it, but nothing has ever been confirmed, state officially, or even really given a source. Doesn't mean that it isn't being rebooted—given the long delays and extended silence, I think you have to assume the game is undergoing major changes from what we saw a couple of years ago—just that there isn't any proof of it.

Aside from that, the "live service" approach (which the articles compare to Fortnite) is something that has been publicly stated as being planned since at least E3 2018, so that isn't really new news on its own.

And that's about it from what I've seen/heard/read.
