Having a team that I can customize is cool but as always, Ubisoft dropped the ball in several areas. The most notable areas for me are:
    - No new content
    - When I go prone, the team will crouch, most of the time
    - When I was at a hostile base and taking cover near a NPC, the team went in front of some other NPCs to find cover...the NPCs never reacted

I really wish we could turn off the PING feature. When trying to sync shot and I miss a distant target with the binoculars or drone it drops a ping. I drop pings everywhere. It drives me nuts! It’s not something would ever use (I even googled it to find out what it was for!) so I would love to be able to turn it off!

I have played with them for 30 minutes now and first things that come to my mind:

    - There should be a loot/explore command where the team mates go through the location and loot all the boxes so you don't have to run around so much. If it's too much hassle to have them pathfind to each box individually just make them run out of sight and then give all the items of that location to the player.

    - I want to be able to set if my command wheel or item wheel takes priority. I don't want to go through a extra button press to tell my team to regroup. This is especially frustrating when the Wildlands commands are in my backbone so this extra button press to bring up the command wheel is messing up with my muscle memory. If we get the Wildlands AI team, then give us the command structure just like it was there.

Oh and just as a general side note, the game is still far from perfect but is just so much bearable in this state.

Edit: Ability to sync shot chopper pilots is a great QOL addition, I really like that there is now a way to get rid of them quickly.

Your last point is a good one.

Although ideally you need quick access to both wheels.

They ergonomically screwed this up for controllers. You need to hold the bumper, toggle the wheel, and choose something all on the same side of the controller. The command wheel would be better implemented if it was a dual key combo for direct access... on the left side. So you press say your ADS and drone button at the same time (for example) to get directly to the command wheel.

In order to preserve muscle memory from Wildlands my wheel is swapped with use item so L1 and R1 are swapped for me. This is a bit better as I can bring up the wheel on the left and switch it on the right very quickly.

I really wish we would all stop trying to prioritize different issues. UBI isn’t a monolithic team. There are separate teams responsible for different issues and they should ALL be working on fixing this game. Why do we all keep falling into this trap that they can only be working on one set of items at a time? Let the art people fix the cosmetics while the story people go back to school to learn content creation and the engineering devs fix the bugs ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

    Small Tweaks, Big Impact?

I’m glad to see the teammates return and combined with the new resistance faction missions, I’m actually enjoying the game. (The three month time away from it may also have helped that).

I agree with everything others are saying with regard to disappointment over limited orders, lack of story introducing them and lack of general dialogue outside of combat like there was in Wildlands. That last one really created personality in WL, in BP, they’re still a bit lifeless.

There are a couple of tweaks I think could make a big difference. Ideally we’d get more complex detailed orders and ROE, but I think that unlikely, so I’ll keep the requests small.

Cleared hot is just the seek and destroy that the fire command was in Wildlands. It causes the team to run off like headless chickens killing anything they can find. Sometimes that’s fine, others not so much.
My suggestion would be that we get a menu option that sets what behaviour Cleared Hot initiates. Seek and destroy or engage targets of opportunity. Seek and destroy would be exactly as it is now and engage targets of opportunity would mean they didn’t override orders of ‘Hold’, ‘Regroup’, or ‘Go To’, only engaging from the position they are at, or on route to it.

The second tweak would be to allow us to create fireteams. The way I see this working, is within the menus we have the option on each teammate to ‘Link to Nomad.’ This would essentially keep the regroup command active at all times for the selected teammate/s. This would allow us to keep one or two teammates with us, whilst sending, or leaving another in a different location, perhaps in an over watch position, or position to provide cover with a LMG.

Whilst this is far from ideal and probably a slightly clunky way of doing things, it might be more achievable than more complex requests and when you combine the two options, I believe it could make a significant difference.

okay this is reply to my other post I found some more bugs with the AI teammates. My console crashes to the dashboard when I go to certain spots in the map like at least one base in particular. it kept crashing to the dashboard and I went back and tried it again and it crashed again in the same spot for this time I'm using a drone instead of walking in and it's still crashed. I turned off the teammates after rebooting the game again went back to that same base and sure enough I was able to get into it with no crashing. so I don't know if that's the only spot so far. but at least it's telling me, the AI teammates update is doing it.
