Ubisoft said that they carry a secondary AR for sync shots, yet Fixit used his primary LMG for a sync shot and alerted a nearby patrol since LMGs can't be suppressed.

I found they usually shoot with the weapon you equip them with, even when it would make more sense to use the other.

I spent some time playing with them earlier and i completely disagree on them making the game more interesting, they are more lethal and efficient at killing enemies than in WL which completely trivialises the game. When i was playing solo i had to think about how to approach most bases, with the squad all i have to do is shoot or sync shot all snipers and rocket guys on the roofs then set squad to fire and just run about looting the crates while they kill everything.

If you want to use a vehicle to fight from, don't pick anything with a minigun. The AI seems to pretty much cause no damage. Running across other vehicles on the road only the 2 teammates not on the minigun did any damage to other vehicles. I watched the minigun plastering the front of an enemy vehicle. Couldn't take out the driver or inflict damage. I'll stick with the pickups and SUVs for now.

It is nice to have teammates now to shoot back at the enemy.

Although I'd like a different method of getting to the AI command prompt. When you're in a hurry the Alt then right mouse button and then slide to the command is too slow and causes obvious problems. I use the keypad # for the weapons wheel so I'd like the AI command Prompt first - not possible as the commands set now. Also, I find a little hesitation in the game when the graphics get saturated. I'm running a RTX 2070 Super on an i7 7700K at 4.2 so this shouldn't happen. The game finally locked up while using a helicopter. (That's why I'm here instead of playing.) This graphics hesitation is the only real complaint I have with the AI - and is the same problem I had with Far Cry New Dawn which I no longer mess with because there was no fix offered and no response from CS concerning it. Again, though the new AI is great and a lot of fun. But there is a conflict that locks up the game. Hope this gets fixed.
I made a thread about this. The order wheel emote section need to be mapped to keys so you can macro them like we did in Wildlands.

At 1:00 We show a idea of selecting a team mate to stay with me so that they can receive specific orders and the rest of the team can still be coordinated as well. This could be set up as complex attacks from different location. Also in the E3 trailer I even show the complex coordinated assault were Bravo 2-1 or Fury and Fixit head to the opposite side of the A.O, while 1-1 and Ghost lead take the stealthy way in. This is what I had an idea of when I thought of the A.i teammates way back in Jan this year(2020). Hopefully we can get an advance order update to the orders already to have the freedom of placing individual team in places or even telling the A.i to drive to a area. I do expect these kinda of features already because it 2020 and past Tom Clancy games has done this and more.
I suggest that players should have three freedom to
    •Move squad
    •Regroup formation
    •Hold position
•Designate task (cutting fence, stealthing in, assaulting, flying, driving, staying with you, and overwatch)
Emotes should be able to be played in
    • All stances
    • In vehicles
    • While free falling
    • While swimming
    • While in motion or moving

    Interactions with NPCSa
-Npc's should be able to interact with you from emotes.
    - Voice command
    • Take cover
    • Follow Me
    • Go there
    • Gathering Intel from NPC if pose as friendly
    •Possibly Compromised if under stress
    example NPC: He Killed him!
    PLEASE DONT KILL ME!
    HE(or she) HAS A GUN!!
I would absolutely hate sounds and icons when giving orders. That's the type of stuff I immediately turn off and wonder why it was ever added. There are a lot of NO HUD people who play this game so if stuff like that would ever be added there would have to be a way to turn it off because the last thing I would want is to see jpgs popping up at my hands when giving these orders.

As far as AI and the OP topic, they're the same as wildlands. At the very least the cleared hot button needs to do one thing imo. Clear them hot and that's it. Not have them run around like rambo. HOLD POSITION...CLEARED HOT...they hold position and will open fire on enemies. MOVE TO...CLEARED HOT...they will move to the location and fire upon enemies they see. And vise versa when not cleared hot. That simple addition to this team would make them so much better and show signs of improvement. And yes, we should be able to command them separately. There's just nothing here that stands out as "new and better."

    First and foremost
Using right bumper and triangle on controller is clunky, would of made more sense left bumper + button combo

So I tested AI guys, replayed killing walker whatever it’s called
Yes, they spawn inside of building for fight
On the easiest settings, once I had dealt with walkers health regen drones, AI made no attempt to engage drones
They dispatched wolves and walker with zero assist from me

    Rnd 2
    Normal/confirmed settings
    As above I dispatched drones
Wolves were more aggressive than AI, had to revive one once, longer fight than first AI barely holding its own

    Rnd 3
    Veteran
Wolves spanked AI 4 out of 5 attempts

    Rnd 4
    Elite
Brutal AI barely managed to survive 1min
    Wolves destroyed AI easily

Now realizing game utilizes live server, I noticed some things over course of play that seem to indicate ubi behind scenes adjusting tweaking items
Would of thought having AI match game difficulty setting would make sense
Above normal settings the wolves are way more aggressive, shame AI does not have this quality
Yes AI will still let wolves march right by them to end you

However in open world play vs arena death match with walker and his minions
On max difficulty settings I completed all current faction missions only died once, AI revived me once over 12 missions
Managed correctly they make hard missions seem easy, in fact I let AI do most of work only carrying side arm

No they are NOT in way shape or form an improvement on same in wildlands
Once again ubi has failed to capitalize on opportunity to showcase their desire to deliver best game experience possible
Par for course shortest route to goal vs ceasing chance to provide innovative change

In wildlands I had team from start, playing without them felt alien
Here thou playing lone wolf at first i detested, but now having teammates seems pointless
Typical with this IP ubi has missed mark, always a day late and a dollar short
Innovation requires more than cut n paste from a 3yr old game

Where ubi went wrong with this game was completely misinterpreting genre
Unfortunately it seems they still don’t get it

Yea, the miniguns have always been nerfed (power factor and shot spread after the first half second) are so bad they are pretty much useless.

So far, I really like having teammates again. I can with or without them but not being alone changes the mood from lone wolf to team leader. I think our teammates act smarter than the ones we had in Wildlands by a significant amount. Like some have said, I wish they talk to show some personality. Maybe next Ghost Recon we can get teammates with their own unique voices to select from because Ubisoft borrowed from Wildlands. Only problem I’ve had with them was that Fury would be levitating off the ground.
