Hello everyone)
Once again i'm asking for this option. Two big title updates came out and nothing changed, so i'll try again.
I'll show some screenshots so you can realize how strange this belt looks on a character without a vest.
Somehow belt is "attached" to a....jacket??? I think we can all agree that this looks stupid and unrealistic. Patch 2.1.0 has came out today. And the pacth notes says "Fixed an issue which would make the belt no longer visible when Third Echelon Top is equipped." Here's how it looks in the game:
Again, that looks stupid. I really don't understand what were the reasons to patch this. For some unknown reasons Sam and Briggs figures doesn't have the belt on them, yet they wear the same top. Here's the screenshots:
This "belt" issue became a problem after update 1.1.0. Before that update belt was linked to a vest, it was one piece of a gear, which meant that if you are not wearing the vest you won't have the belt on your character. Here's the screenshots:
So based on all of that i'm asking you guys once again to make things as they were before title update 1.1.0 or give us an option to make the belt not visible on a character.
Thank you for reading this, and sorry if my english is lacking, it's not my native language))
I absolutely support this. A long time ago there were many posts about this. And not only in this forum. With the latest update, this belt has beaten off my 50% desire to play. Because for me, the appearance of my character means a lot. I can not fully enjoy the game when my character looks ridiculous.
Dear employees. I was surprised how quickly you solved the problem with a Fourth Echelon Pants, almost immediately after I created the topic about this yellow object. It's a big pleasure to see such a good support. I want to express my sincere gratitude to you for this. If you did the same with this ridiculous belt, it would be no less wonderful.
I was just coming to post about this. It's ridiculous that they keep adding that ugly and poorly done belt to all costume pieces. And like you I also used the Echelon outfit because it removed that belt. The wost part of them adding the belt to that one is that the Echelon outfit already had it's own belt (and still has it, under the "new" old ugly belt!).
Belts were part of the vests, but then for whatever reason they decided to move them to the base chest piece. It's a terrible decision, makes no sense, looks horrible, and it's a badly made model. The general consensus is that we strongly dislike it, and we have a legit reason to do it.
They keep doing nonsensical stuff like this, or like changing the running animations to give us the current orthopedic hips, or like removing Fury's braid (which was there on the actual playable models during the beta) because of reasons. Then they add salt to the wound by using the old and better models on the promotional videos and gameplay. Are they doing that on purpose to annoy us or what?
Dear forum staff, you should understand that right now many players are losing the desire to play this game, only because of a non-removable belt. I will tell you personally about myself. For me, the appearance of my character means a big role in the game. If my character looks ridiculous, it discourages about 50% of the desire to play the game. I don't want to play as a ridiculous looking character with a bulky belt, which destroys the overall style of the costume by its presence. I'm sure there are a lot of players like me.This belt is a main cosmetic problem, it's critical. It affects absolutely all clothes in the game. This problem deserves at least - more attention. And as a maximum - an immediate solution.
