We already know we get a bow again, so I'm not too concerned there, though I hope the compound makes a return as we only saw the recurve. I am really hoping the P226 returns, I was very pleased with that addition to FC5. Other than those, I'd like to see the USAS12 from FC2 make a triumphant return!

Not a returning weapon but rather one I'd like to see added to the series is the SCAR, however due to this entries seeming focus on the whole 'resolver' aspect, I don't really expect to see a lot of new modern weapons added to the arsenal. The legit weapons I've seen so far have been a bit on the underwhelming side and I'm not too keen on the power tools turned into weapons schtick, but fingers crossed they add some good ones as we've only seen a fraction of I think they said the 49 weapons in the game so...

yeah man the usas12 is a must, as well as the spas12.

The scar is not a very good auto rifle, unless you use it single shot. Still, it has too much recoil for what is supposed to be a carbine.

Eh, they've had the spaz a bunch of times, I'd be fine with them retiring it. Also they could make the SCAR a decent gun, it's a videogame...

Thankfully because of the gameplay previews we know a majority of the weapons from Far Cry 5 are coming over to Far Cry 6. Oddly enough the Tec 9 is missing from the weapon roaster, despite being in a cutscene in the game/story trailer. We also don’t have the MP5 or MP5SD, just the MP5K which is very odd. That Cold War era sidearm from the Dead Living Zombies expansion is missing as well. I’m also very surprised that melee weapon’s are missing! I’m not sure if they’ll be in the game or not, but they could’ve done a lot of different weapons with unique melee takedowns. The ARC-L semi auto sniper isn’t reappearing probably since it was just a big re-skin of the generic ARC. The regular PO8 Luger is gone, although the PO8-L is back but as a signature weapon. I think the most tragic thing that isn’t reappearing from Far Cry 5 is the slingshot... I will miss trolling enemies in stealth... But yeah the bows we saw in FC5 are both returning as well with the P226 which are some of my favorite weapons. Also the USAS 12 is actually getting replaced by another full auto shotgun. Also kinda glad that the resolver weapon’s don’t hold a candle to the amount of cool military grade weapons there will be at launch

As for more returning weapons, it seems the ole M133 is returning

And we know from the shots of the ultimate edition's bonuses that the lever action and skorpion will be back as well.

I really hope the P226 returns, absolutely loved that pistol in FC5 and obviously the bow had better be back, but I imagine that's a pretty safe bet.
I have to say I agree.

The make shift weaponry seems like a novelty more than anything. Fun for a go, but I’ll be switching to real weapons pretty quick.

I like to role play in games. But not with goofy weapons.

Considering how Far Cry games are based on real world events, I wouldn't be surprised if they keep the makeshift weaponry towards another installment. While Call of Duty and Battlefield often cover the stories of war and terrorism, I could see Far Cry 7 actually taking place in the Middle East. It's an overused setting at this point, and I don't want to get political at all. Because of recent events, Far Cry 7 could be in another fictional country. Whether it's a fictional version of Afghanistan, Iraq, Korea or Vietnam, the Americans left junkyard of equipment could be reminiscence to Far Cry 2. It would be a potential plot where Americans left a war ravaged country and the player, yet again, leads the resistance. Since many equipment left behind are potentially useless, they could turn junk into makeshift weapons in another Far Cry game. Since Cuba has Russian influence, it would be interesting if there's weaponry and equipment left behind by the Russians, Americans and the Chinese. Since Far Cry Instincts and Far Cry 3 have World War 2 wreckages, they could even have additional World War 2 weaponry left behind by the same countries I listed including Japan.

I know I'm getting off topic, but hey.

As for the weapons that have been revealed so far in Far Cry 6, keep in mind that those who played and recorded Far Cry 6 obviously did not complete the game. We'll definitely see the entire arsenal whenever someone finishes the game. Ubisoft released new trailers and we're seeing new vehicles that we had never seen before. Just like every Far Cry game, we need to progress through the story to unlock and discover new weapons, even if they're familiar old weapons we've seen in an older Far Cry game. Yara is pretty huge compared to older Far Cry games, and so there's more weapons and vehicles to unlock the more we liberate Yara. For now, don't count on the information we have now and expect more to come when Far Cry 6 is released.

I'm disappointed with the weapons list. They're the same weapons from previous games.

What sort of weapons did you want then?

(I thought people liked the 'popular' weapons)

Returning weapons is par for the course. There are some new additions as well, not as many as I would've liked to see, but honestly more than I was expecting, even if most of them are not ones I see myself using with any sort of regularity.

I'm fine with them re-using more popular options, but they re-use too many and not the right ones sometimes. I mean, how popular is the skorpion really? They've had it in every game since FC3 and I never see anyone use it, certainly not enough to justify keeping it in the arsenal for as long as they have. They've ditched multiple better weapons but keep that pos in there? C'mon...
