Well they already brought the fangs for hire from FC5/ ND over, I'm not really digging the makeshift weapons situation myself, I don't find it particularly interesting and I think it looks lame AF. I'm just hoping that the game still has a selection of legitimate weapons to use and that the rebel's makeshift arsenal is mostly optional should one so choose.Originally Posted by KrayZee_ Go to original post
As for more returning weapons, it seems the ole M133 is returning
And we know from the shots of the ultimate edition's bonuses that the lever action and skorpion will be back as well.
I really hope the P226 returns, absolutely loved that pistol in FC5 and obviously the bow had better be back, but I imagine that's a pretty safe bet.
I'm perfectly fine with it if we can purchase actual weapons that were manufactured while crafting makeshift weapons. New Dawn took place in the post apocalypse where currency is worthless and supply and demand is nonexistent. There were rusty weapons, which are basically your standard Far Cry 5 weapons that are just old. It does fit the setting in a third world country where civilians are unarmed. New Dawn took the Far Cry Primal approach where you have to gather resources. Far Cry 5 didn't take those elements from Far Cry Primal. I highly doubt the enemy faction you are fighting against will be using makeshift weapons since they are the country's military.
I can already guarantee you that it will not. Again, they made these design choices exclusively for New Dawn in order to keep it different from Far Cry 5 and people wouldn't accuse Ubisoft of 'copying and pasting'. Only some game mechanics from New Dawn would likely to carry over, not its core mechanics that differentiated itself from the main installments.Originally Posted by Gr4nt8r0dy Go to original post
