    .

Ohm you are aware that no hero in the game got super armour (ignores bash and attack) but have hyper armour (only ignoring normal attacks)

I can guarantee you my friend can 1v1, 2v1, 3v1, or 4v1 and still come out on top with the Shin. Although honestly, he can do this with just about every one of the toons. He is easily a top tier player and I often will just go and watch him play. This tells me Shin is fine.

@gaser exactly so in some cases his super should have perhaps been dropped to hyper rather than removed completely.

@lone again thats an anecdote, and like said looking at a top tier player alone will absolutrly NOT give you any valid information about the relative balance of a hero. Again look at the literal statistics and numerical data available. Your anecdotes do no good.

Even if shinobis skill cieling is acceptable. That alone does not qualify him as viable or balanced.

    Don't even bother Vendel.

He is clearly lacking experience in the game to get your standpoint.

At the end any decent player know pretty much he needs a rework.

My 200+ level account says otherwise. Ironically, my friend is half my level and is still the better player than I. In all honesty, any decent player will know how to play all heroes and make a win, such as the case of my friend. On equal skill levels, if a player is blatantly and consistently producing a loss, then something needs to be looked at on the character. This is how true balancing works.

Anyone who can consistently parry lights and react to attacks can win with anyone but it does not mean that character is good. When a shinobi is not turtling the only tools he has is one of the easiest bashes to dodge that you can get hit out of quite easily and leaves him open to a gb before and after the bash and a 2 hit 500 ms light chain, not really much to work with. His punishes are also a mess 40 dmg on a gb is pretty good however you also only get 40 dmg on an OOS throw. Orochi, a hero regarded as one of the weakest gets almost double that. Pair that with throwing ranged heavies when you don't want to and being able to get hit out of the teleport animation from a deflect you have no control over, he really isn't that great.

Your existence is a proof that reps doesnt equal skills then.

You are free to think what you want to. But you have to accept that it is the overall opinion that he needs a rework.

Wow, thank you for the completely unnecessary insult. Way to show class and intelligence. Bravo.

Funny thing about opinions, that’s all they are. So @you and Chump94, let’s see these magical numbers please. Show your evidence.

You took that as an insult when he could have been referring to your friends skill level in comparison right after you just said "My 200+ level account says otherwise. Ironically, my friend is half my level and is still the better player than I", while alluding to him lacking class and intelligence.
Perhaps you can realize the hypocrisy of this?

Also as far as chump94 goes: he wasnt sharing just opinions. he provided numbers. evidence. poignant statements about the speeds of shinobis moves and their openings. That wasnt just an opinion. The analysis is, but data was provided for his analysis.

And as far as numbers? polls have been done many times on this subject on the reddit, but separate to the community there is the empirical data:
    https://forhonor.ubisoft.com/game/en...ance-hope-y4s1

Where shinobi is the worst in dominion, breach, and duel, and these stats were BEFORE his most recent nerf.

and his duel rate is substantially lower than any other hero. The only game mode where his use is sometimes rationalized is his ganking surprise ability in breach.

its not even a question. Shinobi is literally statistically the worst hero in the entire cast right now.

@Sieg, sorry i cant help myself and bothered haha.

Come on, you’re just grasping at straws here with the retort to my quote. You know what he meant. No where in my post did I say I’m a bad player. I think I’m fairly decent. My friend however, is expert level, and he does extremely well on Shin. So sorry I had to help you with your reading comprehension.

Poll = opinion of forum readers and quite misses the majority of players who don’t even visit them. That doesn’t cut it. Opinion is still opinion.

At least Chump provided some real numbers. Regardless, devs thought the nerfs were needed. And I doubt any amount of crying is going to revert it.
