i personally have not tried it, but all i see is turret/drone players being swarmed by rushers they cannot kill due to lack of dps and horrible drone/turret placement even when healing such players they just die or are worthless, but what your saying is if a well "skilled" player utilises all these talents and buffs the intended way they can cause mass CC and tank AI's with the drone and turret?Originally Posted by RichardOshea Go to original post
if that is true i'll take back my words, but i defenitly know that 95% of the matchmaking i've had over the past weeks is horrible players using this build, and every single person was just worthless,
but i'll see if i can build one of those sets myself then @richardOshea have you got a picture of such a build? with potentially rolls and stats.
because i'm afraid i won't be copying any of the matchmaking people i come across
Sort of. Its CC capability comes mostly from the Striker Drone which NPCs will focus on quite a bit. Its damage comes from targetting the same target with both skills and your In-Sync weapon -- this will shred most enemies pretty quickly. Any builld can be overrun though. Turret placement is important and I agree that this is an aspect of turret use that a lot of players miss, as a well placed turret is very hard to destroy and if placed correctly can cover a large area. In a good build you an get both skills quite close to ten seconds so uptime is also one of its benefits. Give us a minute and I'll post a pic of my own version -- I don't use it that often as there are much stronger skill builds around.Originally Posted by RavennesVR Go to original post
This is the version that I use. Obviously you can alter it via the chest and backpack talents. I've opted for increased survivability over things like Glass Cannon and Perfect Combined Arms but using the three weapons in the correct order will net you more than enough damage (Spike/Future Pefect/In-Sync).
Three piece Mirakami/ two Hana-U and one Wyvern is another variant but I only just dropped a suitable Mirakami holster that allowed me to roll a blue. For attribute rolls you just go Skill Damage and Skill Haste.
Just an afterthought: Most skill builders will stick with the same build throughout the mission and I think that this is a grave error on their part. Pick the build for the environment; as the environment alters throughout a mission, I generally go through a least three builds in any given mission. The sad part is that the end of misssion summary will not reflect that and tends to reset when you switch builds.
alright cheers, i'll take a look into this tomorrowOriginally Posted by RichardOshea Go to original post![]()
I saw lots of funny things this weekend - people running time trail with all the directives going and the event turned on - too funny. New guys running up close fighting outcasts I never seen someone die so many times in a mission it was hilarious I couldn't stop laughing
Saw that a few times myself as well. One game they had the Event enabled and were running Armour Regen, Cool skills and Special Ammo in a time trial, this was with three skill builds in the team. Needless to say the other two skill builds left after the wipe. Obvioulsy the group leader was running a gun build!Originally Posted by BT3241 Go to original post
It's not the build that is bad -- it's the players using it. Give a bad player that can't aim even if their life depended on it the meta M1A build and they will suck too. I've out DPS such players with healer build LOL.
Also I really wish people will stop looking at the end stat screen, like it's the the be all and the end all, about how well a player performed. It has been established a long time ago that Skill dps from turrets and drones do not account on the end screen there, so it's just ignore the damn thing and pay attention how players perform during the game, because I have the opposite experience to yours tbh. Most DPS players I see do nothing, but pick a single spot at the utmost back point of the map and sit there the whole time just tapping their stupid M1A mindlessly away, getting flanked all the time, because they get tunnel vision.
yes, only cheaters would like to use gun fighting in the mission onlly in the game( i have to confirm one thing, on PC, there was many is cheating, but still didn't get banned) shield is a skill too, healing drone or mine is a skill too. they give u an option on one directive, someting like no med kit... i didn't remember what it called,i did't use this, so if u is a such so called "hardcore"() may u play solo, or with ur friend, or someting like that, one suggestion, stop matchmaking, it will be suitable to ur wish.
what a bull in a china shop, gun fighting only in legendary??? DPS noob in raid, only DPS, "rambo", selfish player... i played with many such players, oh no, come here, need help , laid down.... just stay on the floor, u look so peace, man. i will recover u,if we are not busy... waiting to respawn( this man and the clock is counting down)
Well... do you kill the rushers? That's the point of being on a team, right? No way you sit there and watch your team mates die.Originally Posted by RavennesVR Go to original post![]()
