Hmm. I wonder if any of them have/had much influence on the direction of this game.

Will their be a fresh direction or different emphasis on what happens in their products (and TD2)?

    One can only hope.

    Allegations are allegations.

With cancel culture, outrage mobs on social media, etc running amok, and the lack of any clear public evidence of what's happening internally, it could just be internal politics.

    Multiple allegations from different people.

The only people whining about "cancel culture" are those used to spewing toxicity without having to face any consequences.

You are objectively wrong - actors are being cancelled over voicing characters of color, tweets that didn't age well that were posted a decade ago, for having the "wrong opinion". Paw patrol has a police dog and LEGO decided to not advertise police figurines.
"everything is toxic". Not getting baited by this vague and ambiguous ****. Reading through the tweets it's just as unclear as every other allegation. Citations of the "isms" are abundant, but no evidence.

People who post allegations on Social Media know exactly what they are doing, and they are not looking for justice. They are looking for the mob to do morality policing before proving anything, because they know that companies are reactionary when it comes to public outlook. So they are easy to control with their predictable knee-jerk reactions...

Anyhow, anyone wondering WTF is going on should go read the arstechnica article. And as a reminder, this is an official ubisoft forum, so posting details of the allegations here is likely to be counterproductive.
