Is it fast to get into Last Stand matches in EU servers?

I'm thinking in buying The Division and grinding all commendations. I researched that the Blood Money commendation is by far the longest one, but that requires a lot of Last Stand games. However, I'm afraid there's already not enough players playing and it won't be possible or would take a long time, to get into Last Stand games. Anyone still plays once in a while and give me feedback on this?

The game is very much still alive. In fact, they recently re-released the Global Events again. Those are great fun. Note that while they have their own commendations, they are not tied to the actual ~5k+ required to complete the game commendations. If Commendations are you goal, then as you've already done, check the progress frequently. I got all 12 of the SHIELD commendations on my 2nd account way quicker on my 2nd account than I did my primary. Why? Because I knew what they entailed by then. Sometimes you can work on multiple commendations at the same time.

That said, I think that Last Stand might be the only part you'll have trouble with for a team or match. Some others game modes might take a bit, but will load in a reasonable amount of time. For instance, there is one way you can open Survival where if no one else joins, or not enough, that the game will eventually go ahead and start. I think max wait time is 6 minutes. The exception to this is if you are matchmaking for/with a group IIRC.

Outside of Europe and the U.S it is pretty dry. I live in Fiji and usually get connected to AU/NZ servers and there you won't even find a single soul queuing.
