Have a snickers, then post your build and we can debate on 97% optimization.

Striker drones and turrets, but don’t let anybody tell you that you should be using 6 gold tiers. If you are that’s why it feels like it doesn’t work. Hybrid that dude with red 3 to be precise. Use spotter and combined arms in Hanna U. Stick with fox’s prayers and contractors cause doesn’t everybody. Going to need a Ceska or grupo holster to make sure you hit the CHC mark of 50-59% cause the 60 might be bugged. You should be right around 110-130% CHD. Of coarse use technician for the constant spotter and extra tier. Several rifles, AR’s and the Negev LMG can use the linked in laser pointer, so you got plenty of choices. I use harmony and an AK both with n sync because I’m lazy and don’t want all that swap future perfect, kill this, switch to this blah blah. Plus mechanical animal can’t attach the linked laser pointer. (Way to go massive)

Now you got solid weapon and skill damage once everything is going, which if you’re shooting stuff, it’s always going. This will also work as CC because baddies will be more concerned with your skills than you. I run this for everything from CP4 to legendary. By far the easiest laziest way to run CP 4’s. Legendary you need two going to be effective, and it’s obviously situational.

Smg’s can be used to great effect. Look into intimidate and adrenaline rush. I’ll short wind this... basically take the meta build 3 piece providence, contractors, fox’s prayers (reoccurring theme) and coyotes mask. Swap the chest and back pack talents, go firewall, grab the shield. This is actually becoming my new favorite combo. You can use shotguns ar’s whatever. You’re not invincible but definitely strong. Get a good healer or CC guy and it’s as close as you’ll get to strait face tanking.

This is what I’m having fun with.

I can partially agree with TC in that agents are nowhere near as powerful post WoNY as they were without it, I still have a lvl 30 character at 504 GS. its levels of toughness different than WoNY level 40.

However since the game is billed as a Cover Shooter, than being able to run in and gun the enemies down isn't a sign of power its a sign of Rambo play style.

Have you tried to use skills to force enemies out of cover when they are suppressed with LMGs? or even granades? Use drones or turrets to deal with enemies outside your guns range, use headhunter to buff snipers and no they didn't magically put an third eye on hte enemies that force theird head to move the moment you aim at them, if you looks at their idle animations outside of the scope you wil lsee that htey always move a little even if they are not aiming at you.

I mean SMGs are strong now, shotguns depsite the big numbers buffs are still not the best weapon for close range and i have complained about it, Big horn is still just an okay rifle stuck in AR category so it ends up being a completely mediocre AR and okay rifle definetly doesn't deserve the spot it is. Striker is pure weak sauce and nothing feels like changed for that gear set.

So yes TU10 did buff most things, but it didn't fully fix EVERYTHING, saying that everything is worse is just making **** up my friend

I play on 5 directives heroic... zero med kits... with Gunner specialization to get some ammo injected in.... I find it great fun...
I'm Xbox it's hard to get headshots with a controller. I used med kits yes that's what they are there for. And the only time I was in cover was using a cheese skill build that must have been when you were watching

Players should be checking their DPS in the basement of the white house to improve their builds very few do and actually know what their DPS is . I run all yellows and I don't have a problem and yes on heroic your going to die once and a while. One shot rifles are not always the best choice as some people believe unless you shot it like a pro and shoot head shot after head shot.

I myself clear CPs day and night running full red, cannot use revive hive due to the 5 directives since my play style is attack with ballistic shield and a shredder famas and M1A CQB... works for me.. with complete crit build... but thats just me... everyone has different likes and play style...
I have 2 builds I predominantly use. 60chc 200+ Chd or debris foxes prayer and contractors I have a god rolled skill build which I use to cheese heroic or legendary depending on how I'm feeling. The game is definitely not too hard it's in a great place right balance wise. One exception being black tusk air burst Grenades. Fix the loot add some new content and I'll be happy

Which of my fully optimized builds? Crit, skill, ND, CC, tank, sniper? The OP is close to my shd level, so I'm assuming his gear is about as good as mine.

For agro, drone, turret, and the decoy work best. Skip the reviver hive and heals, and use 2 of the tools.

I guess you guys are on console because I couldn't play this game with a controller either.

If you are PC players and struggling in solo heroic you are either a new player with a sub-par build or you are just not very good because Heroic, solo or otherwise, on PC is laughably easy

We don't need to constantly nerf every aspect of the game just because you are not very good or still learning.

Just run a skill build like all the other struggling players. Also, don't make the game harder by running glass cannon on a red dps build; there are plenty of good alternatives like focus and headhunter.

Oh BTW: if a game makes you that angry, don't play it.

The only power I've come across is headhunter + bighorn and, for obvious reasons, eclipse protocol + vile.
