PSA - Incoming loot changes for TU10.1 and TU11

Today's SOTG mentioned some positive changes to loot:

    - admitted that the changes to TU10 didn't work as well as they expected
    - average item power to be increased for heroic & legendary, with a slightly higher chance of max rolls
    - proficiency and DZ caches will drop heroic loot
    - clan caches will drop legendary loot
    - rainbow rolls need changes to loot generation in TU11 before they can be addressed. Currently, non-core attributes are randomly generated, with no way to change that
    - TU10.1 currently planned for July 21

The relevant discussion from Nikki starts here: https://youtu.be/Qk5kg4s50F8?t=2151

Watch that section for the charts they use to illustrate the difference in loot power between TU9.1, TU10 and TU10.1

I still don't know why people are so upset about Rainbow rolls. The attribute's that are non-core are random between about 12ish different attributes. And yes some builds do want attributes that are different the the Core color. (I'm looking for a matador that has blue attributes so i can recal the core to a blue for an adrenaline rush build). Its a nessessary evil to both extend the time ti takes to find the best possible gear and b) allow builds that use differnt attribute secondaries then what the core color is.

If you made every red core only have red stats, blue core with only blue stats, etc etc, it would KILL build possibles since you couldn't find the right attributes then (namely hybrid builds). I mean seriously play any looter and the other attributes on their items vary quite wildly as well, they jsut dont have the distiction of red/blue/yellow.

Agreed on this, as I run some gear with yellow cores and red attributes. What annoys most people seems to be gear where all attributes are different colors - i.e. red, yellow and blue.

I run a DPS-tank hybrid build with Gila gears having blue core and red non-core attributes. I don't want Gilas roll blue only.
Blue non-core attributes are kind of useless.

The rainbow rolls should exist, but they should be the exception, not the norm.

After multiple updates and announcements of attempts to "fix" the loot I will reserve judgement until after the update, Assuming i'm even still playing then since there are other games coming out in the next few weeks / months.

I've kinda run out of patience with "No, really, we will fix this next update guys, Promise"

I mean the brand fills the role of getting a guaranteed roll you want, so fenrir brand bonus kinda all count as red, same with china lights being yellow and so on. I don't have much issue with rainbow loot as it can be summed up to certain rolls currently not being good (health doesn't really impact much in the game)

    What?

I'd love to see that code that cannot be changed.

Obviously, Cpt. Obvious, that is what it is currently there. I am questioning why can't the code be changed.
